We tried two different rooms and they were exactly the same. Our friends also staying here had the same exact experience. Every room smells horrifically like mildew that’s coming from the bathroom. Switching rooms or asking for a new shower curtain makes no difference at all. Housekeeping will not come to your door until the day you are checking out. You can set your AC as low as you want, but the room will only cool to 72°and the elevators close on you.

This place has such great potential, but it seems that it was forced to open before all the finishing touches of the remodeling plan could be put in place. The room was huge and inviting, but there was virtually no lighting in the sparse bathroom. The hallways were wide, but in need of a coat of fresh paint. The tired and dirty elevators definitely needed a whole bunch of TLC. The strained front desk seemed undertrained and understaffed. No valet parking? Come on. I would give the hotel another shot, but not until they've had time to correct the glaring shortcomings.

Beautiful classic hotel. Friendly staff. Overnight parking ~$40+ but not many other good options. Its the best location and the 'Superman' movie building is across the road diagonally. Also the classic 1898 rail station is nearby. Views from the very nice rooms are great and Providence is fun, full of historic buildings and fun eateries and bars, and a Riverwalk they light up with fire stanchions periodically. There is a $5 weekend 24 hour parking lot and others for more behind the Wyndham a few blocks towards the water but there blocks away, there are no attendants on a Sunday and the machines to get out are quirky and won't let you out unless you out the credit card in just the right way (face up and strip right for one). The garages are all pretty costly too and many closed Sundays.

We spent five days at the Providence Graduate Hotel for a conference and found the property and location to be excellent. We were particularly impressed with the front desk associate named Mara Diaz who went above and beyond to accommodate our request to print a business document. Her willingness to help us was a kindness we won’t soon forget!

Believe all the negative reviews. Crack in our window covered with tape, paint peeling, bathtub did not drain, dirty towels with visible hair on them. One staff member at Poindexter cafe was extremely rude. No forks in the cafe to eat breakfast. 0/10 recommend.
