Opened in 2013, Blue Haven Resort is the first resort on the far north end of the Turks and Caicos. It’s a far cry from the all-inclusives on Grace Bay – the resort is sleek and colorful and boasts an outstanding restaurant, yet it’s friendly to guests seeking self-sufficiency. Suites are outfitted with stainless steel Sub Zero and Thermador appliances, and a full marina invites commissioned boat rides to surrounding islands.

Excellent experience! The staff was amazing and the hotel and beach were also. Definitely recommend. Special shout out to these specific amazing staff….. Gerald - knew my breakfast order and took care of me every morning making amazing omelets of cheese, ham, and bacon!. Flipped them in the air and all of the grandkids loved it. He made the “Best Omelets in the World!!!” Janet - helped our large group of 19 with breakfast every morning. She always had a big smile and accommodated every request we had. And with 11 kids in the group that was an amazing feat. Winchell - helped us with our bags when we arrived. Took us right to our room smiling all the way. He helped us on shuttles throughout, and helped us on our return shuttle at the end of the trip. Gillian - made the trip amazing for all of us, she was always there to help with food or drink for the entire family of 19 people. Andre - was awesome at his job! We had him for multiple dinners and he made excellent recommendations on the entrees and desserts as well as custom drinks. Awesome attitude!! Coco, Thamara, Smiley - An amazing crew that kept everyone engaged and entertained throughout the trip. They were fun to be around and never forgot my birthday. Throughout the trip Smiley kept referring to me as “The birthday boy.” They were an absolute pleasure to be around. Patricia - was amazing at the cafe. She loved to dance with an amazing smile while she made our coffee.

Layout of the pool and the beach was good for our large families so we could see the little ones playing easily. This resort is the nicer of the two sister resorts, although the beach at Alexandria is unbeatable. There were a handful of the staff that went above and beyond to make the trip worthwhile and awesome: Gillian - made the trip amazing for us, from promptly taking care of us at the bar and helping with my daughter's phone, she greeted us every single day and knew all of our kids. She was the highlight of the trip. Janet - served our large group breakfast every morning with a breaking smile and accommodated every request we had. Andre - was a terrific server for multiple dinners, kept recommendations and desserts coming as well as the drinks refreshed. Coco, Thamara, Smiley - AMAZING CREW kept everyone entertained the whole trip and was an absolute pleasure to be around. Took a couple of our group to become fire dragons. Gave us nicknames for the trip. Gerald - knew our breakfast orders and took care of us every morning making amazing omelets. Flipped them in the air and my kids loved it Winchell - helped us with our bags when we arrived for them right to the room, had a smile every time we saw him, helped us on shuttles throughout, helped us on our way at the end

Had a great time! Did tour with Kamar- which was amazing! The team and him took care of my mom and kids thoroughly during the tour - the staff was very hospitable - we also enjoyed the events and games for kids & family which happened daily - overall a great visit!

The location of this resort is absolutely beautiful. If you’re looking for a quiet, secluded getaway, it’s hard to beat. The rooms were also clean and very spacious, and Gillian was a standout member of the staff who made us feel genuinely welcome. Unfortunately, that’s where our positive experience ended. We chose this resort expecting a luxury, high-end all-inclusive experience, and it fell well short of those expectations, especially considering the price. The staff, aside from Gillian, generally weren’t very warm or attentive, and many of the thoughtful touches you’d expect at this price point—such as turndown service or other upscale amenities—were missing. The food selection was quite limited, both in variety and options. While guests can visit the sister resort on Grace Bay for additional restaurants, doing so requires taking a shuttle unless you rent a car, which wasn’t as convenient as we had hoped. The pool furniture was also in poor condition. Many of the cabana and chaise lounge cushions were flat, torn, and had foam exposed, giving the impression that maintenance had been neglected. The entertainment team did a great job and added some fun to the stay, but overall, we left feeling disappointed. If your goal is simply to relax by the pool with a drink in a beautiful, secluded setting, this resort may be a good fit. However, if you’re expecting the level of service, dining, and amenities that typically come with a luxury all-inclusive, I would look elsewhere.
