AMAZING experience, staff and property

CALLING ALL BEACH LOVERS!!!! RUN dont WALK to PINE CAY!! My husband and I recently visited Pine Cay and I must say, from the moment we arrived at the marina to take the boat over to the island we were IMPRESSED! From the Marina itself, to the staff that picked you up you felt like and were treated as important guests! The boat ride over was AMAZING , as the staff sat with us to explain all the exciting things we were passing to the scenery along the way. It felt like a private excursion right from the start! Arriving on the island the first person who greeted us was JAY! What a wonderufl staff member, not only was he kind and welcoming to us he also took us on an island tour when we arrived to show us all the wonderful things Pine Cay has to offer. THE ROOM! It was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS, you feel like youre in your own private suite with private beach access no mater where you stay. It had all the amenities and beautiful views of the ocean and beach. and CLEAN! Speeking of Beach... OH MY GOD!! It was incredible... The MAIN BEACH is one of the nicest I have ever stepped foot on. And I have been to a lot of beaches around the world. The water.... PERFECTION. Crystal blue all the way around the island we even saw Dolphins from our room jumping the wake of a boat infront of us. You can walk out to sandbars to explore and stay ankle deep FOOD!! 10/10.. I must say the food was amazing. There is only one restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. But this IS the vibe of the resort, VERY intimate, very quiet and very easily accesibly when it comes to eating. You will see the same people for all 3 meals and it creates a little community sense which was lovely. THE QUIET and STARS!! This resort is not lively, so if thats what your after this is not the place for you. This to me though is one of the best things about this property and from speaking to other guests is why they love it so much!! You become friends and meet the guests at the other rooms but otherwise you could be and feel like youre the only people on the entire island! Feels very private, very safe, very calming and relaxing. So if youre looking for the perfect getaway to unwind. THIS IS IT STAFF!!! 10/10 staff they were amazing, Jay and Juan where the two we connected the most with on our first day, then we got to meet Kenny on one of our boat trips along with Doyle and RW! EVERYONE is amazing, we were only there for 2 nights so we didnt have the longest time there and they still all made an amazing impact on us. We Also got to know Naffy in the restaurant on our second day she was also lovely. We met the general managers also, Christian and Sandrine, such WONDERFUL people and they truly make you feel welcomed and like you belong. there are SO MANY excursions, swimming, snorkling , finishing, take the golf cart around the island and explore, no mans land was GORGEOUS, we saw Turtles, dolphins, crabs, lizards and some awesome birds! If we were there longer Im sure we would have seen more. This place is true paradise for relaxation and romance. We WILL be back! Thank you Pine Cay

Pin Cay great place to stay

We are just returning from 9 nights at Pine Cay. We were last here in 2021 and we were surprised how much better it is now than then. We stayed in the beach cottage. It was very private. The room was very large with ample storage. There was great outdoor space... a gazebo, dining area, and lounge chairs. It was steps from our one private beach cabana, just steps aways for the ocean. The beach is great ... super soft sand and a great place to walk.. We always looked forward to our daily walk to the sandbar, were I would find sand dollars. The spa is a must due. The massages were pheonomenaal. We drove arund the island in our golf cart. The only thing we would have liked was more clear makings of the sand roads so you knew were you were. The food was exceptional. I had the best beef tartar I have had in years. My husband loved all of the food. The presenation for each meal was always perect. A bit call out to the chef and his team for all that they do. The staff is super friendly and one of the best we have ever encountered.. Housekeeping A+, Landscaping A+, restaurant staff A+...Management A+.... I could go on and on.. But I have to give a special callout to two people that went above and beyond..... Juan - thank you - I know I am a very picky eater and you always went above and beyond to make sure there was something for me to eat. Rudy (aka Tum Cruise).. thank you for the stories and the laughs.... you definitely entertained us.. and we loved it. We look forward to our next visit.

Quiet beauty

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

We recently had a 4 night stay at Pine Cay. We are a couple in our 60s who enjoy quiet small resorts with barefoot luxury - and Pine Cay fit the bill. Situated on a small private island about a 20 minute boat ride from Provo, this small resort sitting on a gorgeous beach was a nice respite from a cold winter. It’s all-inclusive except for drinks - a format we love as we never drink enough to justify paying for all inclusive drinking. The room was gorgeous, with a fantastic set of indoor and outdoor showers. The room opens to a patio which opens to the beach - and a short walk takes you to your own tiki with loungers facing the beach. The resort also has a small spa providing massages. You can get drinks delivered to your tiki (we had a bit of a hassle getting drinks ordered through their app, but I think it was just a slight misstep). The food at the resort was really nice - including a sushi night that was fantastic. We used the spa for massages twice - if you go we highly recommend the massages - just wonderful. While we gave this a 5 star review, we do have a couple of critiques for management to elevate the experience just a little more: 1. I would include the airport transfer in the hotel price - even if you slightly raise the room rate, every luxury hotel we’ve stayed at in the Caribbean includes airport transfer. It just feels more crisp to do this for your guests. 2. We would suggest heating the pool - the entire time we were there we saw people in the pool once - and all the guests we spoke with commented on it being a shame the pool wasn’t heated. 3. We would suggest having a small buffet station with breakfast to give guests the opportunity to choose pastries and fruit themselves, as well as juices (while not a large amount relative to room cost, paying $8 for a glass of juice is an irritant in an otherwise nice experience). Keep up the good work, Pine Cay! PS For those who have never been to Turks before, be prepared as the airport is the worst we have encountered in the Caribbean.

Perfect Stay at Pine Cay!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

My husband and I had such an amazing stay at Pine Cay. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional and truly a highlight of the trip. The ice creams were incredible, the fresh bread served at dinner was always perfect, and the focaccia at lunch was absolutely delicious. The bar was also fantastic. Rudy, one of the bartenders, was superb — and the margaritas were amazing! What really made the experience special was the warm and welcoming service. The staff are genuinely kind and made us feel so comfortable throughout our stay. A special mention to Nafi, who kept us laughing the entire time and shared so much with us about the beautiful little island. Coffee time in the evenings became something we truly looked forward to. The beach is stunning, and our beach attendant Rohan was the guy! He made sure we were always comfortable and well taken care of. At dinner each evening, Timothy was always the first to greet us with such a warm welcome, which made every night feel special. And a special thank you to Jay, who was always there with a smile and gave us such a lovely farewell at the end of our stay. Everything about Pine Cay made our trip unforgettable. My husband and I will definitely be returning. Pine Cay is the way!

High Season Not for Us

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

We made our seventh visit to Pine Cay after Valentines Day. Most of our visits have come in shoulder or low season, and this was our first visit to the place with a full house (as well as a significant number of the island's owners in residence). Sad to say. it was a different experience and one we will not repeat. The Bar and eating spaces simply do not have the capacity to handle dozens of guests, and it showed in rushed and tardy service from a warm hearted but overburdened staff. Pine Cay has added two additional cottages, and rebuilt its bar to handle a lot of guests at closely packed two-top tables. They are close enough together that one well oiled guest dominates table talk for a dozen nearby diners. Pine Cay's food has steadily improved, and our meals were delicious. If we came early, we could find quiet and calm tables away from the bar. But because we were in a room close to the social spaces, we were awakened several nights by late night revellers returning noisily to their rooms. We spent a lot of our time walking Pine Cay's magnificent main beach and reading under our thatched shelter. However, the last three days, a large pleasure boat from Provo moored no more than 150 feet offshore right in front of us, and serenaded us with amplified hip hop from their sound system. There was nothing the owners could do (we suggested shoulder fired missiles . . .). Besides the overcrowding, the other big disappointment was Pine Cay's spa. We have had wonderful spa treatments here, but this go round was a big disappointment. My wife had a manicure/pedicure that, inexplicably, took 2 and a half hours (and cost $285 with taxes, resort fee and tip!). I had a Signature massage missing the advertised shiatsu session and found it a cold, mechanical experience. Staff changes are indicated here. We love Pine Cay, particularly its warm and caring staff. Management has done an excellent job upgrading facilities and cuisine, but, in the process, frittered away the calm, deserted island charm that made Pine Cay so special. We will return to our shoulder season/low season schedule.
