The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos

We are currently staying at this property for our first time to Turks. The beach is absolutely stunning and I would be remiss to not call out two amazing people, Luce and Rowdy, for their impeccable service. So, why the rating? This is a Ritz property but it feels like a Hilton. There’s nothing very special to it but you’re paying Ritz prices. The lounges at the beach and pool are no better than the ones you would find at a standard Marriott property. The Biminis on the beach are tattered and provide no shade and they just stick the Costco loungers under them and charge you. I would suggest Management head to Miami to learn about the potential of a great Beach Bimini. The rooms are spacious and clean but, again, I could be at a Marriott or Hilton in any city in the states. Builder grade fixtures, counters and tiles. The restaurants are good but, again, nothing special. We are loyal to Marriott but this has missed the mark. Supposedly; we were upgraded to a “club level” room (with no access to the Club) from our two bedroom suite and then given a connecting room for our daughters. We will absolutely be back to the Turks but we will not stay here and that makes me sad.

Nisha made our stay at the Ritz-Carlton unforgettable from the moment we checked in. She was warm, welcoming, and made the entire process feel effortless. The level of service throughout our stay made us feel like we were somewhere we never wanted to leave. The casino got me with free drinks and they were strong! The property was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and beautiful. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and housekeeping was excellent. We never had any issues getting fresh sheets or anything else we needed during our stay

I had a wonderful time there. The hotel was beautiful and the ocean was magnificent. I love the beach and spent most of my day time swimming, walking and resting on the very comfortable lounge chair. As soon as I walked down the steps to the beach, I had a very courteous man waiting to help me everyday. I believe his name was Reese As hot as it was there, he would still set me up with my chair and always ask me if I needed anything. He would always say “ I got you Miss JoAnn” Made my day! I hope someday I can visit again. I would say this was my favorite vacation and I travel a lot! Thank you to all the staff that helped me make great memories.

We had a great time. The staff was spectacular! Reeses Williams helped us set up a private boat tour. The great part is that we told them (Capt. Crunch and Ketchup...certainly not thier real names but impossible to forget) what we wanted to do and see and they made it happen. As well as great cocktails and fresh conch ceviche which was perfect! Back to Reeses...extremely friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He helped us make the trip truly memorable. I can't say enough great things about him. I would highly reccomend this trip.

We had the best experience. On the first day we were greeted and felt so welcomed. Reeses Williams was so genuine and kind. He explained the property to us and told us about the activities we could do. It was such a pleasure to chat with him every day. We were sad to leave and can’t wait to go back. The Ritz is lucky to have him as an employee!
