Reviews for The Somerset on Grace Bay

No one there to talk to about a reservation!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

I tried for three days to contact reservations including multiple phone calls and emails . I initially was told reservations was closed for the day and someone would call me the next day. no call and when I tried the following day I couldn't contact reservations after holding on line quite a while. If they don't have anyone to answer reservations calls, why would I consider staying there for $2500. a night?

This is the second time our family of five has stayed at the Somerset. Our second time was great just the the first one . Rooms are spacious and kept very clean. The beach and water are absolutely beautiful. Staff is great!! Special thanks to locksley and Aj at the beach. Can’t wait for our next visit

Our quiet stay at The Sommerset Resort

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We had a wonderful experience at The Sommerset Resort in TAC. It was the beginning of slow season and we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of not only the resort, but the beach, restaurants, shops and activities on the Island. We had a great time, ate some great meals and really enjoyed our time there. The Sommerset took very good care of us. The room was clean and comfortable for all involved. I'd recommend it to others.

Family friendly Heaven on Earth

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Returning to Somerset is such a welcoming experience as we were literally greeted by staff members with words of “welcome back”. We stayed in Stirling 101 which was newly redecorated and it was beautiful and inviting. As always the grounds are beautifully maintained and the friendly and laid back vibes are exactly what we needed to re-charge. We love so much about Somerset from the staff, rooms, pool, beach, the fact that you never need to rush to reserve a chair at the pool or beach and intimate feel, but the top reason we won’t stay anywhere else is Miss Sharon. Sharon runs the kids club and our kids (8 and 4) can’t get enough of her fun and engaging kids club where they do everything from crafts to tie-dye. We can’t wait to return!

Five Star Hospitality on Grace Bay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

The Somerset on Grace Bay was perfect for our family! It's beautiful, quiet, and laid-back. The included sit-down breakfast was excellent, and we loved the Monday evening cocktail reception with kids' s'mores and the Friday night movie on the lawn. Beach umbrellas, non-motorized water sports, ocean floats, and sand toys were all included. We were welcomed with rum punch, fruit punch, and snacks and water in our room. The hospitality was exceptional. I was worried it might not be family-friendly because there weren't many reviews mentioning kids, but it was a fantastic choice and we'd definitely stay again. One tip: don't forget to make reservations for the Tuesday night beach BBQ—you won't be disappointed!
