This June my family and I stayed for the third time at The Somerset! No complaints (except I can’t stay longer), 15/10 recommend. All of the staff is amazing. Arrival: They have complementary rum punch (and just punch for the kids) upon arrival. It's delicious. Check in process has always been very easy and because it's not a massive hotel it's always quick. It's easy to just grab a van cab at the airport to get there (~$15pp). They will then take your luggage to your room for you and someone will walk you to your room. The room: We stayed in the 3-bedroom ocean front. Stunning beyond words. There’s a full kitchen (and there is an option for them to stock the kitchen with whatever you want before arrival…we didn’t do this but other guests did and said it was amazing). Full living room. There was also a laundry room with a washer and dryer which I love (they provided a couple detergent packs, but I brought my own because I would do loads daily). Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The beds are comfortable and rooms are decorated nicely. The massive balcony had a huge table that we ate breakfast at every morning, then there are several chairs and loungers. The area: The beach is beautiful. Grace Bay is stunning. The water is immaculate. While there, I snorkeled (and saw a barracuda and manta ray). They also have paddle boards and kayaks which were awesome. You never have to fight for a beach chair which I think is amazing. It’s quiet as well which I think is nice, I never had to worry when I put my kids to bed that it was going to get crazy loud and they would wake up. The hotel is close to the shopping area, so when we needed something from the grocery store my husband took one of the bikes they provide and just biked to the store. The staff: I didn’t have any bad experiences with staff, in fact they were all amazing. The thing I love most about the staff here is that they actually care and they remember who you are because it’s a smaller resort. My husband bought the stuffed turtles at the gift shop, and my boys named them AJ and Loxley after their favorite staff members! AJ is absolutely wonderful and is so good with the kids. We did a boat tour last year with Captain Frankie, and when we told him we wanted to do it again he called Frankie right then and there for us and got us set up with a time! We got a conch shell both years while on the boat and AJ cleaned it up beautiful for us. He also kicked the soccer ball with my boys on the beach for a little bit because they really wanted him to! Loxley was always wonderful setting up the beach chairs for us and getting any fun activity ready that we wanted to do. Big in the kitchen is also awesome. He made my kids numerous cookie monster milkshakes. When we wanted to have some pizzas ready for dinner on the beach he promptly had it ready and waiting at the time we asked. Sharon is also awesome with the kids. She does the kids club (my kids always want to be with us but other guests we spoke to said that their kids had the best time with her at kids club). I had a deep tissue at the spa (I wish I could remember the lady’s name, but it was amazing!). Overall, I think it’s a wonderful place to take a vacation. We made friends with a family that’s been coming every year for several years because it’s such a wonderful experience each time. Definitely recommend!

As a frequent traveler to providenciales for 25 years this was our first stay at the Somerset on grace bay. We were completely blown away from start to finish, the property itself is beyond beautiful, the architecture is stunning, landscaping is meticulous, and every inch of the property and rooms are spotless. HOWEVER, the shining star here is the staff, the GM Beverly and her team go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Literally everyone here is friendly, professional, and attentive. We were here during a hurricane, unfortunately, and the staff could not have handled it better or more professionally. While all of the staff were amazing. Some people certainly deserve special accreditation; Beverly of course, Loxley at the beach, Zion and am by the pool, Margarita at the restaurant, foster, who literally apologized for the hurricane, lol, Jan Carlos and Winston, who touched base so many times to make sure we were OK. The rooms are kept spotless and a gallon of water is placed in your refrigerator every day. The rooms are massive by resort standards. The included breakfast every morning is amazing with minimal surcharges for certain items, maybe two or three dollars for certain things, the surcharge is completely irrelevant. The property is always relatively quiet and sits on a beautiful stretch of grace Bay, it feels more like you live there as opposed to being on vacation at a resort This was our first visit to the Somerset, but definitely will not be our last and this may be the only place we stay from now on.

It was a disappointing experience. The pictures of the hotel online was different than reality. The hotel is rated online as 5 stars , Based on the service and building it should be rated as a 3 stars . Staff were very unfriendly and provided poor service. The food was terrible and disappointing. I would never go back and never recommend this hotel. the only thing we enjoyed was the beach, which is teh same for the entire Grace Bay area

Our stay at The Somerset exceeded our expectations. The resort itself is beautiful, but what really stood out was how friendly and helpful everyone on the staff was throughout our stay. One thing we noticed right away was how many repeat guests there were, and by the end of the trip we completely understood why. There were also a lot of little touches that made the stay especially easy and relaxing. The breakfast each morning was really convenient, having ice readily provided ended up being something we appreciated way more than we expected, housekeeping twice a day kept our unit perfect, and we never had to stress about finding a beach or pool chair no matter what time we headed out. We wanted to stay longer and already can’t wait to return.
