Our Somerset on Grace Bay condo was clean & comfortable. The view was nice , overlooking the lap pool and the waters of Grace Bay. The staff at both the pool & beach were very good and always ready to help. (Especially Collin) The drinks & food from the pool bar were great and the Rum Punch at checkin and managers happy hour was tasty. (Billy was friendly at the front desk & bartender at happy hour) Bottom line—-it’s a great place to stay and near plenty of restaurants for dinner. Highly Recommend !!

Perfect place for a relaxing family vacation. The property is beautiful and immaculately maintained. The location is excellent. It's a short drive from the airport and easy to get to local shops and grocery stores. The units are very large, which is important for us as we have two young kids. Everyone has space. The parents can get quiet time in the evening or early morning to relax, or catch up on work without waking or bothering anyone else. The kitchens are huge, which we made good use of. The Kids Club is a true treasure. Ms. Sharon is fabulous. Our daughter (7.5 years old) loves her and wanted to go to Kids Club every morning and afternoon. All of the staff are truly kind and helpful in every possible way. This was our second year here for Thanksgiving and we've already booked for Thanksgiving 2026!

Our 5th year back. We look forward to the week every year. Relaxed experience, compared to a Resort packed with people. I book for the Lap Pool swimming in the sun every day for exercise is a dream. Sunset walks to town we cherish as well.

Everything about our stay was exactly as a vacation should be. From before our arrival the staff reached out to assist in arrangements so we arrived with a refrigerator filled with our grocery list, scuba diving booked, and the hardest decisions we had to make on island were: beach or pool and pina colada or rum punch. We can’t say enough great things about Miss Sharon who hosts the Kids Club which our 7 and 3 year old both said was the best part of the trip. It’s the perfect amount of time to be a break for parents with plenty of time to make core memories as a family. Everything on property is immaculate and the staff is always all smiles and helpful. You can text the front desk at any point and the response time is impressive. There’s never a rush or a shortage of prime lounge chairs by the beach or pool so no need to camp out early or feel rushed. Staying at Somerset is truly an amazing experience!

We just left The Somerset. As you can see I do not review places often but felt some things needed to shared. Yes the staff is warm & friendly. Yes the villas are spacious. But if you are looking for convenience, this resort is not it. There is no room service, no hot tub, no espresso machine on property, hard to get a taxi, limited beach service, the pool restaurant closes at 6, no actual building for the kids club that they rave about… We went 3 days buying expensive bottled water at the pool restaurant before we realized you could get cold water from the pool or beach attendants. This is an example of the poor communication throughout. No one told us the restaurant was closed our first night. No one told us how to use the TVs in the villa or that the kids room had electric blackout shades and how to use them. No one told us most of the shops in Regent Village are closed on Sundays. I was told there was only yoga on Tuesdays but then found out after the fact it’s also on Thursdays. It was also very difficult to get chairs at the pool. I brought my 5 year old down at 9:30am to swim and all the chairs by the front pool were “claimed” yet no one was in them. Some of them didn’t come down till lunch. Incredibly rude and the staff should have intervened. We booked The Somerset during their Black Friday sale but as the trip was approaching, realized there were 2 beds booking for less per night so I reached out and asked for a complimentary upgrade. They happily obliged yet when we finally got the keys to our villa, it was obvious this is a villa they do not typically book. Yes it was clean but it was very run down with a roach problem. They moved us to a different 2 bed on a higher floor and that’s when I realized we received a faux upgrade. I found this property through an influencer whose family is obviously prioritized when they are here. While I still believe it is a nice resort, it was absolutely not for us and I do feel like we were duped by her and her instagram posts. It was obvious while we were here that returning families are prioritized by the staff.
