The hotel is beautiful and has the best location right on grace bay. The beach is clean and beautiful and it couldn’t be a better location. The rooms are huge, we had a 1 bedroom oceanfront and it easily accommodated my family of 4. The cleaning ladies come twice a day and the room is always left spotless with new towels, etc. The concierge at front desk is always willing to help with anything you need and they’re very friendly. The only downfall I could say is that the restaurants are not good, like actually terrible food and weak watered down drinks, and the service is extremely slow despite it not being crowded at all. this should be a 4 star review but we loved it so much that we still gave it a 5.

The staff are lovely. But the resort left much to be desired. The lack of on-site restaurants or anything outside of beach/pool was disappointing. Some commentary on advertised activities. The kids club only operates if there is a quorum of children. for instance, when I brought my kids to the 2p-4p time slot, we were turned away from participating because no one else showed up. A lot of things felt like "IYKYK" - small stuff such as "you can ask for ice pops at concierge desk" - and we couldn't find info on where the croquet lawn or the gym were located - or if they existed. No info on babysitting services or if there was a spa location on site. In our 2bd residence (at least in our room) there was a bag of ice left in the freezer. So the resort knew the ice maker didn't work, but instead of fixing or alerting us, they just left one bag of ice for our entire stay. The property felt less of a resort and more like a nice timeshare-adjacent Marriott Vacation Club.

Amazing resort, my children especially loved it here because of Miss Sharon at the kids club. She is one of a kind. A wonderful caring person who the children and parents just adore!! We will be back!

Our second trip to The Somerset. We just love this place. Located in the middle of Grace Bay on a wide portion of the beach. The property is comfortably quiet and extremely well maintained. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Housekeeping makes three stops a day to ensure everything is perfect. We look forward to returning

The Somerset has large, comfortable apartments that are well maintained. Each is individually owned, so there are different styles and furnishings, depending on the apartment. The staff is absolutely incredible! Efficient and nice. Great location on Grace Bay with easy access to restaurants and stores. I can’t say enough good things about the Somerset.
