A special vacation at Wymara

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Wymara is truly an extraordinary resort. We loved that it was small, quiet and away from other resorts. The resort grounds, restaurants, and rooms are beautiful. We were surprised with an upgraded room which made our vacation even more perfect. It was great to have restaurant choices within the resort itself with excellent food. The staff was outstanding. Always friendly and upbeat. A special thanks to Geraldine who saw to our every need with enthusiasm, graciousness and checked in with us often. Arienne was also wonderful and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed Oki especially his ginger shots in the morning. We plan to return next year.

A lovely hotel with excellent facilities and very good service . All the staff are very personal and helpful whilst not being overbearing . Indigo is a top class restaurant with very good choice and delicious food . The pool staff and bar staff especially could not be more helpful and friendly . Highly recommend this hotel in a beautiful location for a totally relaxing , high end vacation

Wymara - quite literally the best!

My wife and my stay at Wymara Resorts + Villas was easily the best vacation we've ever taken. The hospitality was unmatched, the grounds were immaculate, and the food and drink was top notch. We cannot recommend it any higher.

Great resort! We will be back!

My husband and I visited for his birthday. We ventured out and about a bit and Wymara is definitely the nicest resort in Grace Bay. Many of the resorts, like Beaches have very little beach so the chairs are all jammed together between the tide and the structures - to the point that it is hard to walk between the water and the chairs. Even the Ritz had rows upon rows of lounge chairs on the beach. Wymara has a huge beach with just two rows of very spread out chairs. It is the perfect balance of small enough to be peaceful without being weirdly intimate. We did the sunset cruise leaving from the Ritz and it was lovely. We used our Chase sapphire card and were upgraded 3 levels! Our room was gorgeous, comfortable and immaculate. We were welcomed with a delicious drinks, a fruit bowl and tasty treats in our room almost daily. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet every day and loved the trays of treats they circulated with things like a ginger shot or a delicious hazelnut coffee combo. Due to a winter storm and lots of cancelled flights, we ended up staying a total of 7 days. We would have loved more variety in the buffet and we did feel like we were out of options for lunch and dinner after the first few days. I will say that we had the ceviche almost daily and never got sick of it - absolutely delicious! The one catch is that everything is a jillion dollars. We were prepared for it for the 4 days we were planning on going but by day 7 when the $20 lobster tacos turn out to be $40 with taxes and fees and a margarita is $28, it feels a little ridiculous. The service was fantastic. You could tell that so many of the team members loved their job. One of the pool attendants made the cutest towel animals and he had a huge smile every time that we saw him. The front desk was wonderful and very helpful with our delays as well as taking care of taxis etc. Housekeeping was like a perfectly timed immaculate ghost. We rarely saw them coming or going but our room was always perfect. The shining star of the resort is definitely the bartender, David. He loves his job and takes so much pride in doing it extremely well. He has mastered all kinds of bottle and balance tricks which are fun and also very impressive! He is funny, happy, charismatic and remembered our names after the first introduction! He also hustles like crazy without ever seeming stressed out.

The most perfect babymoon at Wymara

We stayed at Wymara and wish we stayed for longer. It was a fantastic experience. Highlights: - Hospitality is incredible from the check in process to the end. They even provided a pregnancy pillow and plushies for our future little one! - The oceanfront room was huge and perfect. We were upgraded on my Amex Platinum from a studio. - The amenities in the room are super luxurious - Aesop, Frette, Dyson. They had macaroons, wine, cake and fresh fruits waiting for us on arrival - The pool and beach were both SO lovely and pristine. The water was clear, calm and a stunning turquoise blue with the softest sand, and was not very crowded. The pool was the perfect temperature and had a good amount of shade. They had many workers at the pool and beach to set up the chairs for you with soft covers and towels, to order for food and drinks, and occasionally bring you little treats such as sorbets and slushies - The breakfast at Indigo is great with a wide variety of options and made to order eggs. They also have a la carte if you feel inclined. They bring around little wellness shots for everyone We only stayed at Wymara because we had to move our flight due to the snowstorm. I'm so glad we did because we loved it so much. After Wymara we stayed at Pine Cay Resort, which was much more expensive and quieter, and did not have nearly the same perks as described above (though it's all inclusive). We much preferred our stay at Wymara as they truly made us feel special and the hotel was much more our vibe (clientele at Pine Cay was much older (seniors primarily)). Don't hesitate to stay here!
