Amazing!!!!

Beautiful is an understatement when describing Wymara Resort & Villas. We stayed in a stunning private villa overlooking the ocean. I’m extremely grateful for our Host Arianna. She made our stay very easy and relaxing. She was kind, and made my birthday celebration unforgettable, by adding special touches- like flowers, champagne and a surprise cake. Overall the resort was great, including food, service and cleanliness. Please book Arianna as your host. You won’t have any regrets!

A Dream Vacation

The resort has a boutique resort feel and is stunning! We loved our Oceanfront Studio, Grace Bay, the pool, the restaurants and the upscale modern feel. The absolute best part of our experience was the exceptional customer service given by all the staff in every area! Wendy, Julie and her proud dad stand out, as well as Sion, Carlos, Jefferson and Sean. Everyone from the cleaning staff to the manager was outstanding by anticipating our needs and making our stay one of the best we’ve had.

Wonderful 5 days at the Wymara

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Absolutely amazing. My wife and I spent 4 nights this past week and loved every minute of the stay. My review summarizes the trip beginning at the airport: We signed up for the Skypass VIP/express service prior to arrival. If I had to guess, we saved anywhere from 25-30 minutes in the airport. We paid $150 for the service (both to and from the airport). We landed around 245 pm and we arrived at the resort around 345 pm. The resort staff greeted us with the usual resort flair (warm hand towels, a nice rum drink) and we were in our room by 4 pm. We booked a ground floor ocean front suite. On arrival, we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite on the 4th floor with stunning views of the beach/water. We spent our days alternating between the resort pool and the ocean. We visited during a busy time, yet had no trouble finding room at the pool. The resort allows you to "claim" chairs, so I stopped by the pool around 7 am each day on the way to the Indigo Restaurant for coffee. Of the 4 days that we were at the resort, a few lounge chairs were unclaimed throughout the day on three of the days. On the other, the staff brought in a few chairs from the beach to accommodate the guests. The pool staff was friendly and helpful. They went out of the way to make sure we had food/drinks, shade, and water. The beach at Grace Bay is amazing. We love beach walks (one of the primary reasons we chose the Turks). We probably walked 3-4 miles per day. Walking the beach, you quickly appreciate the situation at the Wymara. While most of the beach resorts place beach lounge chairs next to one another (lines of 30-40 in a row), the beach at the Wymara is wide with plenty of space to distribute chairs, resulting in a peaceful, serene beach atmosphere. There was no shortage of lounge chairs, and no reason to even contemplate waking up early to reserve a chair for you, your spouse, or your family. Breakfast was included and was served buffet style at the Indigo Restaurant. We had no trouble eating outside each day. The food is excellent, with a variety of options including made to order egg dishes. We ate lunch each day at the Blue Water Bistro on the beach. We never needed a reservation. Plenty of space and good food. It was a lovely place to sit for an hour over lunch. For dinner, we dined outside at the Indigo 3 of the 4 nights. We made reservations through open table (not sure if necessary, but I would recommend if you are eating around 7 pm). Food was excellent and the staff was very attentive without being overbearing. We loved the seafood options and the nightly specials by Chef Andrew. Our other dinner was at the Blue Water Bistro. Lovely eating outdoors by the beach. Depending on the winds (it was a gusty week) you might want a sweater when eating at the Blue Water as it felt chilly sitting in the breeze after a day in the sun. Our room was great. Loved the decor. Bedding was very comfortable. Washer/dryer was plus. We spent little time in the room during the trip, but we did enjoy the outdoor patio with views of the ocean. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed this visit and will definitely stay again on our next trip to Turks.

Wonderful Wymara!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

I've traveled quite a bit and have spent a lot of time vacationing in 5-star hotels... Wymara is right up there with the best of them. The staff and management team were wonderful - attentive, accommodating, competent, and did everything with a smile! I could not find fault with any of the people we met. My wife happens to be very fussy and particular (she won't mind me saying that!). It normally takes her 2 or 3 days to get comfortable in a hotel because of her particular fussy issues (cleanliness, room comfort, service, views, restaurants, beach, pool... you get the idea). In Wymara, she felt at home from day 1. Believe me, if Wymara can make her happy, it will make anyone happy! We were looking for a relaxing break from the craziness that is NY, and we got it in bucket loads. If you really want to unplug, unwind and relax, this is the place, and the island to do that! I would be remiss if I didn't mention that it is expensive. In fact, we found Turks and Caicos very expensive overall. Wonderful Wymara
