Located just 20 minutes from the world’s largest waterfalls, Awasi’s new 14-room lodge is situated on the banks of the River Iguazú, surrounded by the Atlantic Rainforest. Each villa is assigned with a private guide and 4WD, allowing guests to explore at their own pace, visiting where they want, in their own time. Awasi Iguazú is the perfect spot to enjoy the world famous National Park and its surroundings, while also enjoying especially crafted excursions that go beyond the falls. After days spent exploring the impressive natural scenery in and around the Iguazú Falls, return to Awasi for a swim in your own private plunge pool, a drink at the bar in the main lodge and long evening meals in our restaurant.

We had an unforgettable stay at Awasi Iguazu - truly one of the most special places we’ve ever experienced. The resort itself is stunning. It’s beautifully immersed in nature, with villas that are both spacious and incredibly comfortable. The design strikes a perfect balance between contemporary luxury and a thoughtful homage to the local culture, which made it feel unique rather than generic. The food was exceptional, especially the dinners. Each night felt like a Michelin-star-level experience — creative, beautifully presented, and completely different from the night before. It’s rare to find that level of consistency and originality over multiple days. What really set Awasi apart, though, was the service and the curated excursions. Our guide, Mauricio (“Mauri”), was outstanding. His knowledge of the wildlife, history, and local culture brought every outing to life. He didn’t just guide us - he elevated the entire experience. Visiting Iguazú Falls and the Paraná River with him made those moments even more memorable. His enthusiasm and energy were genuinely infectious. The service across the hotel was second to none. Every member of staff was warm, kind, and genuinely hospitable. Despite being a luxury property, there was nothing stiff or overly formal - just authentic, thoughtful service with incredible attention to detail. A special thank you to the management team - Camilla, Deb, and Emilio - who went above and beyond to accommodate our many requests. We’ve been fortunate to stay at some of the best hotels in the world, including Aman properties, and the level of care and personalization here exceeded even those experiences. Awasi Iguazu is something truly special. We would return in a heartbeat.

Came to Awasi for our honeymoon trip and our experience over exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The team is extremely hospitable and makes you feel like family from minute #1. They’re always checking to make sure you’re okay, have everything you need, and they’re SO attentive. Everyone addressed us by our names, and remembered what we had to eat or drink the day prior. Our guide, Amaline, deserves a huge shoutout! She was absolutely incredible and a true wealth of knowledge. She was so excited to share things with us about her culture, Argentinian history, the birds and the different trees around us, which made every moment more engaging and memorable. She was also incredibly patient, helped us capture some amazing photos, and went above and beyond to tailor the experience to what we wanted. If we felt like walking instead of driving (like for the three rivers tour) she was more than happy to accommodate us without hesitation. The wonderful ladies at the front desk were also the BEST and constantly making sure we were comfortable and having a good time. The property manager, Emilio(?) was also so generous and made sure we were having the perfect honeymoon. Thank you to everyone!!!!!

This hotel is exceptional and our experience there beat any other hotel stay in our memory. The hotel is not overtly fancy, and it certainly isn't grand, but beneath the seeming simplicity a genuine symphony of wonderful things are all happening, seemingly effortlessly. One has the sense while there of complete harmony, with the staff seeming to be JUST as relaxed as the guests, but it's all illusion, because they are actually working very hard to create an amazing experience. Everything at this hotel is perfect -- the food, the amazing restaurant area with a stupendous outdoor deck for eating among the trees, the service ... which is just stunning, and which always comes with a smile. Genuinely nice people work there and they are a pleasure to spend a few days with. We had never been to Awasi before this trip but I hac been a regular visitor over the years to Awasi Mendoza (formerly called Cavas), and when Awasi took it over I decided I had to check out what this hotel group was, and so we booked this weekend in Iguazu. We were very pleasantly surprised. I have been to Explora and to many of the finest traditional hotels around the world but this place has nothing to be ashamed of in comparison to the icons. It can stand side-by-side with the great hotels, providing a very different but extremely rewarding experience!

This was an incredible hotel! It was really amazing! They have a private train that can get you to Devil's Throat first! It was amazing to have Devil's Throat all to ourselves for a few minutes! We also had a great time on the Brazilian side! The hotel has some very exclusive experiences that you definitely should take advantage of! Leandro our guide was amazing! He knew exactly what we wanted to do to get us to the best viewing spots. We did not have to worry about anything when we were at Awasi! Food was delicious. Beds super comfortable!
