This was a marvellous hotel with great views of the falls. Falls view rooms were very spacious. Food very good. Able to walk from hotel into the national park.

We stayed in March 2026 and had an absolutely wonderful experience—this hotel is worth every extra dollar. • The biggest advantage is direct access to Iguazú National Park. Getting in early is a game changer. You can beat the crowds and actually enjoy the views without hundreds of people around you. • If you stay here, do this: when the park opens, walk the trail alongside the train tracks straight to Devil’s Throat. You’ll arrive ahead of the rush, and it’s one of the best ways to experience the falls—quiet, powerful, and unforgettable. • The hotel sets you up perfectly for that early start with a beautiful breakfast and great coffee before you head out. • By midday, when the heat and crowds build, you’re already done—and can spend the rest of the day relaxing at the hotel, taking in incredible waterfall views right from the property. • The food exceeded expectations—dinners were consistently delicious. • Evenings had a nice touch of entertainment, with live musicians or dancers. • The monkeys around the property were surprisingly fun to watch in the mornings and afternoons. • We considered staying on the Brazil side (also inside the park), but I’m very glad we didn’t. It felt more crowded and tourist-heavy, and the views from the hotel, pool, and rooms didn’t compare. One practical tip: • Transfers can be a bit tricky. When arriving, plan to pre-purchase or be ready to purchase park entry just to access the hotel. • When departing, have reception coordinate with the park entrance so your driver is allowed in—especially if it’s outside standard park hours. Bottom line: staying on this side is a no-brainer. The early access alone justifies the cost, and being able to experience the falls without ever leaving the property is something you won’t get anywhere else.

The location of this hotel is amazing, the views and the very visible wild life it is an amazing experience. Staff was great, breakfast was excellent. The facility was well maintained with a minor exception for the pool, there were some pool tiles that seemed lose. transportation and inclusion of the national park entrance would make the getting there / check in process better, include these with the cost of the stay

Wonderful hotel stay and location. The service could not be better - Hugo in the downstairs dining room was outstanding. Our room overlooked the falls and we had visitors - monkeys !! Absolutely stunning to see such wildlife up close. We also upgraded to the lounge which was outstanding. I would highly recommend staying here. Also, the infinity pool was huge, never crowded and also overlooking the falls.

Recently finished our 3 night stay at Gran Melia Iguazu Red Level. The hotel truly exemplifies excellent customer service. No request was left unanswered. All the staff are top notch and completely accommodating to children. Not to mention the gorgeous hotel and perfect location. There is nothing like waking up to monkeys on your balcony overlooking the beautiful and awe inspiring Iguazu Falls. Plus the added benefit of being in the park means direct access to the trails before the crowds appear. 100% recommend!
