Reviews for Gran Melia Iguazu

Posh resort in an unbelievable setting

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 20 hours ago

The setting at Gran Melia at Iguazu National Park is amazing. The falls are epic, and the accommodations at the hotel are top notch. Great location to access everything the falls and the park have to offer and then relax and recharge after.

it is ok but...

it is ok but restaurant is expensive with a regular experience there was like an acid smell in the bathroom due to drainage and they don't have an electric kettle in the room they only have a Nespresso knockoff with poor results.

An amazing stay at the Iguazu Falls

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

A magnificent experience. The hotel is right in the park. Literally 10 minutes walk to the scenic walkways. The hotel is fabulous and the staff here are superb. If you can, go for the Red Level stay. You get a room looking out to the falls, also, you have access to the Red lounge, with complimentary food and drinks. Esteban was very attentive and helped us with advice on where to go and when. We did the All inclusive option with all 3 meals included. The food is very good and large portions which left us struggling to finish the meals. I thoroughly recommend this hotel, especially if you want to maximize your experience of the falls and want an excellent level of comfort.

Fantastic location but lacks maintenance

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

The location is stunning. You are in the middle of the nation park. Staff is very friendly and helpful. But for the price the hotel rooms pool and spa area are lacking maintenance. Tiles are loose, missing or broken in places. Some of the furniture in the room could do with a lick of paint. If you are unlucky your room is next to the generators and very noisy.
