Desire Pearl Resort & Spa

This was our first trip to Desire Pearl after several trips to Desire RM and we are now Pearl people. The resort itself is small and intimate enough to easily move around without feeling crowded. We appreciated the dinner reservation system they have in place with a provided calender of what each restaurant was serving each night. It allowed us to plan out our dining options for the entire stay within a day of our arrival. The food was delicious and fresh. We love the quiet section of the pool that allows you to enjoy the water while still relaxing. If you've never been to a Desire resort, you need to know that the staff makes the resort. You'll want for nothing and they are incredibly genuine. Every single staff member was amazing, but we do have some people that just stood out to us. The waitstaff at Aphrodite: Carmen, Sebastian, Rey, Mildredt, Oliver, Maylani, Manuela, Chef Ruben, and Onell were fantastic at every meal we had. At the Pearl restaurant/Mansion restaurant: Orlando, Roberto, Gilberto, and Jesus made every dining experience special. At Suki, we really appreciated Memo's wonderful hospitality. At Allure Spa: Claudia gave a wonderful pedicure while Elodie and Selene gave the most relaxing massages. Our butlers, Carlos and Amir went above and beyond more times than we can count. Our absolute favorites of the trip were Victor and Antonio at the pool. Gracious and welcoming doesn't do them justice. Every single day, no matter how busy they were, they made sure that we had a bed or chairs in the best possible spot. They made our trip! We can't wait to come home to our home away from home next year.

Where to even begin? We loved it so much we booked a trip for November before we even left the resort. The staff were beyond attentive. They took care of every need, often before you even knew it was a “need”. Victor at the pool Was amazing. I have nothing to say but positive Things about the place.

Tom and I had another great trip at the Pearl. Michelle and Carlos, our mansion butlers, are outstanding and Hector, Irving, Amir and Erik also check to see if we need anything. Carmen from housekeeping takes great care of our room, Jorge keeps our mini bar stocked and Georg from room service does a great job. Vincent and Alex did their usual great job with our luggage. The staff at Aphrodite, Edilberto, Esmeralda, Manuela, Epifany, Poot, Oliver, Wilbert and Carmen, never disappoint. Ceci, Orlando, Isaac, Gilberto, and Jesus at the Pearl make dining a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The pool is the center of daytime activity and Victor, Horatio, Antonio and Miguel get you situated, Yolanda, Gabi, Joshua and Servando keep you hydrated and Kia Candace, Sam and Felix keep you entertained. The group of bartenders are the best!! Juan, Eddy, Jairo, Pedro, Luis, Luis Lopez, Christian, Eduardo, Saul, Raul, Antonio,and Cob are multitaskers who keep the drinks coming!!! The spa staff, Elodia, Selene, Gabriel, Rebeca, Gabriela, Jesus, Fernando, Desiree Anais, Zazil, Emma, Alma, Margarita, Magaly, Victoria, Cynthia, Taimi and Melisa, are second to none. Laura, the resident manager, leads a great staff and provides an outstanding environment for a wonderful and memorable vacation!!! Eileen & Tom

Love the place - The people are great (although you might need to know a little Spanish), the rooms are good - We get the Master Suite with 2 bathrooms, The food is good, but only two places open every night - the buffet and the Japanese Steakhouse. The atmosphere is the Really Nice around the Pool and fun - The entertainers keep people involved and hoping of you want to participate, but not mandatory

What a beautiful friendly FUN adult trip! The place to go to get to know fun loving active couples. Victor and Horatio by the pool are the best! Respectful polite people and staff! Highly recommend using the Spa. Will be visiting again and again.
