The place is very good for an all inclusive hotel. The food is excellent, way better than what you’d expect from all inclusive. Louis (works on the beach) and Fernando (our waiter) were exceptional, they really tried to make you feel special. The biggest issue we had with this place is a hardcore timeshare selling team. We were approached by Maria on the day of the arrival (we’re a family of 8 people taking 4 rooms) who told us that she’s our personal butler…any bookings or reservations she’ll take care off. It was a total lie. She’s done nothing for us. She later said that ( when confronted) her job is to sell time shares After establishing the contact with us and telling us her “life story “ we felt like helping her and we agreed to hear the presentation that, according to her, was supposed to be about real estate investment and had nothing to do with times shares. That was one of the most DISGUSTING sales tactics performed by 3 sales people pushing our 76 years old parents to buy timeshares…they wouldn’t take NO for an answer. My parents left with headaches and upset. TO THE MANAGEMENT: please get rid of your horrible team of timeshares salespeople, they are ruining peoples vacations!

We travel a lot and have to say, that we have never experienced a more poor service than on this hotel :( Check-in was at 15 and they kept telling us, that the room would be ready in 10 minutes. 15.30 the room was still not ready. No apology or anything, We just had to sit and wait. At 15.45 our room was Finally ready. In the room the door to the toilet didn’t work and the safe didn’t work either. So We called the reception and ask Them to come and fix it. 3 hours later, nothing was fixed. So We called again. And suddenly 3 people were I our room trying to fix the door. After 20 minutes they left and a new guy came to our room, saying that they could offer us another room. By that time it was evening and we had already unpacked and was so tired. The guys who were there trying to fix the door had made the floor in the room so dirty, that we had to use shoes in the room. In the bath the handle didn’t work, so you couldn’t adjust the water, making it coming from everwhere. At no point did we receive an apology for The staff for the poor service. By the pools there are very few sunbeds, so it was not possible to get any. The whole place looks so much better on the booking pictures, than in reality. It is also placed at the end of the Road, where when you are walking from town and back to the hotel at night, there are no lights and no people, making it not so Nice to return in the Dark. So overall we strongly recommend that you don’t book your holiday here. I Think you Will be very dissapointed.

This was our first time staying at a FIVES resort, and it ended up being a great experience! We were a group of five and booked two rooms last minute at a really good price. It was pouring rain when we arrived, but the staff was right there helping us with our bags, which was super appreciated. Sahari was excellent with assisting us with transportation to and from the airport before we arrived. We had arranged airport transfers ahead of time, and the price was surprisingly good. When we got to the hotel, they welcomed us with a drink and had us sit down while they handled check-in from the couch, no standing at the counter, which was a nice touch. We went with the all-inclusive package that came with a set menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was excellent, way better than I expected. I usually go for places with buffets, but the set menu was a nice change. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, just know the dessert options were a bit limited. The staff was awesome, especially Yoe, she made us feel welcome every single day. The beach was lovely, and props to the team working hard to manage the seaweed. We also really enjoyed the rooftop pool, it was such a chill spot, and the bartenders, both by the beach and on the rooftop, were great, especially the one at the outside bar—I wish I remembered his name! We took a short $5 USD taxi ride to Puerto Morelos, which is a small town with plenty of restaurants and bars. We hung out at one of the restaurants where a live band was playing. The town seemed pretty quiet the night we were there. A couple of small things could be improved: both rooms could’ve used better airflow, no bathroom fans and the AC in mine was pretty loud. One of our rooms had a bit of water damage in the bathroom ceiling and some unfinished patchwork on the wall. Also, the elevator is tiny and kind of stuffy. That said, I’d absolutely recommend this place, especially if you’re looking to relax at a smaller resort. If you’re looking for a party scene, I’ve heard FIVES Beach has more of that vibe. Check-in: 3/5 stars We arrived around 1:00pm and asked about an early check-in. The staff took all our information, gave us wristbands, and collected a deposit on our credit card, so we assumed our room would be ready. But they told us it wasn't ready yet. They said we could use the facilities while we waited, but we decided to take a walk into town and spent some time at a nearby beach bar. When we returned at 2:30pm, the room was still not ready. It wasn’t until exactly 3:00pm that we were finally allowed to go to our room. Room: 4.5/5 stars We stayed in Room 207, which overlooked the street. It was spacious, with a comfortable king-sized bed, a sofa, a table and chairs, a kitchenette, and a balcony. The TV had many English-language channels, and the room was quiet - we slept soundly through the night. The mini-fridge was stocked with soda, water, and beer. Coffee pods were provided, though the coffee maker only brewed about a shot’s worth at a time. The bathroom was large, with double sinks and a rain shower head that had plenty of hot water. My only complaint is that although there was a kitchenette, there were no utensils. Not a huge issue, but we brought leftovers back one night and had to eat them with our fingers. Pool Area: 4/5 stars There are two pools—one on the rooftop and one by the beach. We didn’t use either, but both looked very nice. Food: 4/5 stars We only had drinks at the rooftop bar. Prices were a bit high for Mexico, but the atmosphere made it worthwhile. Location: 4/5 stars The hotel is beautiful and well-located, just a 15-minute walk to the center of town. Puerto Morelos has many great restaurants within walking distance. Staff: 5/5 stars Everyone who worked at the hotel was friendly, hardworking, and always had a smile. We would definitely stay here again.
