The Fives Oceanfront

Just returned from The Fives our experience we had room 213 beautiful one bedroom ocean view room quiet room with comfy bed and huge balcony. Avoid booking junior suites most face the road on two ocean view per floor many complaining they were told ocean view rooms. Two restaurants you need reservations for dinner. Skip the sushi restaurant they cannot make sushi and there’s a mix of other things on the menu. Often they move the dinner to the main breakfast and lunch location since it’s a totally outdoor restaurant so windy and hot at times. Sushi restaurant offers breakfast. We tried to get in once there was 7 tables occupied with no one having food or coffee and one waiter so we went to our main restaurant The RoMarly Beach-house. Dinner we went to Al Mare don’t be in a hurry when you go out to all meals service is slow and can be chaotic at times can take up to two hours before you are done. All the food is fresh well prepared and delicious Drinks were high quality and good service at the bars and at the beach. Thank you Ian and your friend for making sure we always had plentiful drinks and speedy service Beach chairs were full by 7am with people leaving their stuff on them. The Palapas were mostly empty at $80US daily that’s understandable Fridge was filled daily with water, beer, sodas and sparkling water. Coffee maker is an expresso Lavazza great coffee no tea Limited daytime activities quiet resort Shout out to our butler Eli he made our stay amazing always available to answer any questions making reservations and special request he went over and above to accommodate our requests. Thank you Jinny for your cheerful and professional check in Thank you Christian for fantastic service at breakfast and lunch you rock Joy for making sure everyone got seated and had their coffee and OJ. Cristoble and Giovanni for your excellent dinner service and to,the rest of the staff too they were very amazing too Mostly a shout out to the best Italian chefs at the Italian Restaurant the food is amazing totally gourmet and made with love and care we enjoyed every dish we ordered A glitz at checkout took sometime to resolve overcharge and staff miscommunications took time to resolve which made checkout stressful otherwise overall wonderful time

The staff were Absolutely Amazing in… The staff were Absolutely Amazing in all aspects of the resort, especially at RoMarley! Breakfast and lunch at RoMarley was always tasty! Had lunch on the rooftop a couple of times, also good. We tried to book dinner on the rooftop, the resort failed to inform guests that if it's windy they cancel the reservation without notice! A simple note in the elevator would've been nice. The spa was very nice, I went for the hydrotherapy session. Very relaxing! They don't have enough chairs especially around the main pool as people save chairs starting at 6 am and there is limited space. Up on the rooftop has a beautiful infinity pool, lots of seating and the view is amazing! P Again, I can't say enough for all your staff! The hotel is situated right on the beach, there was quite a bit of sargasm that they would rake on a regular basis. We were on the 3rd floor in the corner suite 310. There isn't much privacy as you can see the balconies on both sides. They only have wood slats to separate the balconies. Our balcony didn't come with loungers, they should definitely add them.

This is our 2nd time coming to this 5*+ boutique small resort. You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! The rooms, view,service, wait staff, food is all amazing. We are hating to leave names of people out but here are some of the names that were here last year as well.Luigi,our Ambassador couldn't do enough for us,he is amazing. Kenya, the Manager is wonderful & helpful. Jocelyn is a lovely young woman who explained features of all their resorts. Noah gives an amazing neck & back massage. All Restaurant people: Yeo,Marley Restaurant reception is just the best, so pleasant & friendly. Ferdanan,Edwardo,Elvis,Manuel,Francesco,Missael,Miguel,Mario,David. I know I am leaving some names out,please forgive me. Eli for beach beds,Cynthia at checkout. The evening entertainment with guitars & singers were very talented. Everyone you meet is certainly #1 Customer Service all the way What can you say, YOU MUST COME TO RELAX IN THIS AMAZING RESORT FOR R & R. Again, thank you for the tray of Chocolate Covered strawberries & card for our 10th anniversary as well as the upgrade from Junior Suite to 1 bedroom partial oceanview. Trusting to be back next year maybe February! EXCELLENT RESORT! 93 Rooms,3 restaurants,infinity pool on rooftop & restaurant, & 2 bars.

The staff are attentive and enjoyable - even helping us with our Spanish. The grounds and rooms are beautiful (some hall carpet needs replacement, which we were told will be happening). They keep the beach pristine and the short walk to town is fun on either the beach or side streets.

I really enjoyed my experience here. Everyone was so attentive and caring. They always wanted to make sure we were happy. Special thanks to Javier, Giovanni, and Ian. They were amazing. The beach is very nice too. The seaweed was always cleaned up. The gym is spectacular. The treadmill is in spanish but still very easy to use and understand. The weight equipment looks great too.
