Everyone at this hotel was Amazing!!! From Alejandro (both of them), Antonio at the Bellmans desk, Karla and Alberto at the front desk, (i’m missing a few others that help me), The entire staff at Chaya, The entire staff at Jao, The housekeeping, Edgar the manager on duty, Pool and Bar staff, and for anyone, I did not mention thank you so much!!! It was truly a great experience!!

We stepped outside the Waldorf Astoria in Cancun to take in some nighttime air and were met by Antonio the Bellman. He initiated a wonderful conversation with us and then offered to take us on a brief golf cart tour of the WA grounds plus an excursion of the Hilton property located right next door. He gave an interesting description of the ages of the buildings and the capacity of each. We then engaged in some personal chat whereby we learned more about each other. A truly enjoyable and special experience with Antonio!!

I wanted to treat my mom to a nice vacation but WA made the trip more than I could imagine. Now upon arrival I wasn’t sure the property was even open. It takes 10 min from the entry gate to get to the property. But when we pulled up there was literally not a soul and I was a little nervous….but then once the HUGE doors opened I was quickly greeted. And I knew this trip was going to be perfect. There are so many highlights but let me start with the food. The freshness just made it worth all the calories I had that week. My favorites were the shrimp quesadillas, red velvet churros, Mexican mac and cheese. Additionally the service of the wait staff was impeccable. I wanted something that wasn’t on the menu and they said well it will take a day and had it for me the next day. I felt so grateful. The facility is also beautiful so get that tripod if you are a content creator. Views from the shower shows the ocean. And our balcony had a soaking tub outside. Teresa was our concierge for the week and she made sure everything was all good. Take the margarita making class Some luxury places charge a lot of money but the service and food don’t match but you can rest assure you get the value and you will have an amazing stay!

My husband and I are currently finishing a 5-night stay at the Waldorf. We are mid-30s, child-free and were looking for a vacation filled with R&R. The Waldorf exceeded all of our expectations! The food here was amazing, it may be a bit pricey but we were happy splurging a bit knowing the food was great. The service at every turn was A+. We had breakfast every morning at Chaya, ordered poolside food and room service daily. A huge shout-out to Diego Aguilar - the best poolside staff member who made each day easy and memorable. He went out of his way to be hospitable and welcoming. He even made our last day poolside a celebratory occasion. He is a wonderful asset to the Waldorf! We had a beautiful dinner at Malpeque. Food was delicious, our server Sergio was fantastic. Get the octopus - fantastic! We would happily come back to this resort annually.

The hotel is very luxurious and we were well taken care of by the whole staff during our stay. We enjoyed relaxing at the pool cabanas, where Diego Maradona made sure we were very comfortable and well fed all day. This was by far the best Waldorf Astoria that we've stayed out and we would love to come back?
