A Dream Vacation Stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

If you like adventure with luxury, this is the place to go. I cannot speak highly enough of Tierra Patagonia. Every aspect of this experience was amazing. We stayed 2 full days, and were able to get an additional 1/2 day in. I wish we stayed at least one more full day there. There were a couple places I would have enjoyed to experience for excursions. I also wanted to spend more time relaxing at the hotel. If you are considering a trip to the Patagonia, this is the place you want to stay.

The best way possible to experience Patagonia

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The best way possible to experience Patagonia at a great hotel, fantastic architecture, service food and excursions all exceptional. The quality and knowledge of the guides was a highlight and complements the magnificent landscape and wildlife. The rooms are spacious and vey comfortable, the restaurant first class and the public areas beautifully appointed. Apparently the hotel was fully booked when we were there but you would never know - the atmosphere is very relaxed. Although expensive, the value for money is excellent, particularly if you only have a short time (5 days in our case) to experience Patagonia.

Surreal Views - Designed by nature, framed by Tierra!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Located at the edge of the world, the views from every room and the common areas are worth the really really long journey to Patagonia, from India!! I absolutely loved the property - skirting the Torres del Paine National Park, and overlooking the azure-blue Sarmiento Lake, and mountains. The landscape and the skies changed every minute, with the weather and time of day. I was completely mesmerised by the vistas. Wherever I sat in the hotel, the views just walked into the space!!! The rooms are well appointed, the food good, the service excellent, and the hikes well organised with well informed guides. I would love to return to Tierra Patagonia, and maybe also experience their property at the Atacama desert.

The pinnacle of adventure vacations

So far, Baillie Lodges properties never disappoint from any aspect. Tierra Patagonia was not an exception. An amazing property, and the view from all rooms is worth the price of admission. A true adventurer's vacation... with all of the comforts of home PLUS a staff anyone would appreciate. Great value for the money. On to the next property...we are hitting all of them.

Great setting and activities, but costly

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Absolutely spectacular setting and lodge architecture, across from the Paine Massif. Wide range of activities with generally excellent guides. Food quality excellent, but service is too slow and portions too small for a lodge where guests are doing very active and sometimes exhausting hikes. Staff very friendly. Overall worth about 80% of the price.
