Barcelo Puerto Vallarta

This was our first time staying at the Riu Santa Fe Cabo. Our vacation was amazing and the staff were delightful. The pools were great and not crowded as there a so many and they are large. That being said, there were a couple of issues that need to be addressed. The beds were hard and the pillows were flat causing neck and back pain issues for both of us. The wifi was fast but I needed to sign-in constantly as is went from 1 end of the property to the other. Additionally, I had to go to the front desk multiple times to have my wifi account reset as the system didn't recognize my login info. All-in-all, it was a fantastic vacation and we would definitely return and will visit other Riu properties in the future.

Buffet was very average, some cases below, Not much variety and taste was meh. Lots of fish dishes which my husband said was bland. I don't eat fish. Nothing to do at night as the shows were very loud and the seating was like a convention. Only 1 bar - the cantina which was fun if your 30ish. No lounge or somewhere to just have a quiet drink. Restaurants were a pain to book and were just okay.

Since I have asthma, I sometimes have problems with humidity, mold and stale air in hotel rooms, and that was the case this time. Upon entering the hotel room, my asthma attack started and thanks to the girls at the front desk and the housekeeper Esperanza, they very quickly found a room where I didn't have these problems. That wonderful lady Esperanza would occasionally stop by our room to ask how is my health. Thanks infinitely for your kindness and help.

Nice experience with all the family , great service ! Good and restaurants were great to eat. The servers from the Italian restaurant were exceptional

Cesar is awesome - he took great care of us in the Premium Lounge! Ask for the surprise cocktail! His motto “always say yes”.
