Everyone on staff here was so friendly and welcoming. We loved Abel, who was always so warm and helpful to us. He was by far the nicest and kindest professional ive ever met while traveling. Spa is pretty and food is good. The hotel was really pretty and affordable compared to prices where we live in CA. I’d go back to just for such warm hospitality!

Exceptional Family Stay at Grand Miramar – Highly Recommend! We took our adult children (ages 23, 28, and 30) to the Grand Miramar for a Christmas and New Year’s vacation, and it was spectacular. Despite being used to typical "all-inclusive" vibes, our kids loved the quiet pool areas and didn't mind being off the ocean one bit. The Service: The staff truly made our stay perfect. Alam, our concierge, went above and beyond for our entire trip, and Victor (Manager) was incredibly professional and accommodating. Special thanks to Alberto and the bell staff for their constant smiles and help with logistics, like getting to the local pharmacy. Dining & Drinks: Abel, Jesus, and Maria provided friendly, attentive service during breakfast and dinner. Since we spent most of our time at the pool, we kept Sergio, Oscar, and Edgar busy all day—they were fantastic and never missed a beat with our drinks! Key Highlights: Atmosphere: The views from the 10th-floor restaurant and pools are unmatched. Celebrations: We celebrated a New Year’s Eve birthday, and the team made the poolside celebration absolutely perfect. Tip for Future Guests: While the food was great, we might skip the all-inclusive package next time to explore more dinner options in town via Uber. We have zero complaints and are already planning our return. If you're looking for world-class service and stunning views, don't miss this resort!

I stayed at the Miramar in Puerto Vallarta from December 31 to January 5, and overall the experience did not live up to its five-star branding. The biggest issue was basic consistency. Bottled water was not replenished daily, and on multiple occasions we had to purchase water ourselves despite raising it with staff. For a hotel at this price point, that should not be an issue. The Wi-Fi was also unreliable throughout the property, often forcing me to rely on my own data for internet access. Check-in and reservation handling were disorganized. We were told ahead of arrival that we could extend our stay at the same rate, but upon arrival the front desk had no record of this and would not honor the agreed rate. I ultimately had to rebook the extra night through Expedia to secure the price. While the outdoor spaces, especially the rooftop pool, are nice, the rooms themselves are dated and do not feel five-star. The included breakfast was also underwhelming for a property of this caliber. Lastly, the hotel is far from downtown and requires taxis to get anywhere. Given the distance, a regularly scheduled shuttle into the city would be a welcome and expected amenity. The Miramar has potential, but service inconsistencies and outdated rooms make it hard to recommend at its current price point. With improvements, it could be much better, but for now it’s closer to a 3 star experience than five.

Great hotel and staff . I have to thanks especially Alberto Luis for his outstanding service and kindness as well as Salvador Mario. Alberto was very professional and drove us with the shuttle a couple of time as well as Salvador. It made our stay more enjoyable knowing that if we wanted to take a ride to the center at 11am we had this option without waiting for a taxi or Uber ride. It was enjoyable speaking in English or Spanish with someone that knew the area well enough to give us some information. Alberto went above his duty to help us and should get a promotion for being such asset to this ressort :) We enjoy our stay because of people like him. The hotel was spotless with people always keeping the place need in room and out. My only critique was the food that didn’t meet my expectations. At Breakfast what was made was good but the choice were very little for someone like me that didn’t eat meat or poultry or shellfish. I wish they had a bigger variety vegetarian and fish options…like smoked salmon like we had in other resort …berries…variety of bread…croissants…fruit like apple …the pictures I saw online didn’t match what they serve at the restaurant or breakfast buffet. So a bit disappointed . We went one time to the restaurant that was also very overrated….that why we just went once. I order room services some French fry supposed to be served with truffle mayonnaise…nothing like that they came with package mayonnaise the type they served at fast-food place. The bell boy was nice enough to come back with mayonnaise probably from a jar and something he called truffle oil…plus what they charged was not at all the same as in the room service menu…I order a plain Cesar salade but came with piece of chicken…so the server was again nice enough to bring me a plain salade…I didn’t want to venture for anything else. The bell boy was very nice about it…that made a difference in my experience and maybe one of the reason I may return to that resort. For some of the service.

We loved this hotel!! Having stayed at numerous overcrowded noisy hotels on and off the beaches in the past, this hotel provided us a truly unique and relaxing experience. It is a fabulous location if you’re looking for a quiet, romantic facility in Conchas Chinas (PV’s version of Beverly Hills) with a spectacular view. The back of the hotel is nestled amidst the beautiful jungle and the front has an incredible view of the entire Banderas Bay. Yes, this hotel is at the highest point in Conchas Chinas that allows for the incredible view and is a downhill walk to the main road and Conchas Chinas beach (use shortcut back of pool). It is an additional 15 min walk to Playa Los Muertos/Romantic Zone. For this unique experience, we did not mind using taxis/Uber more than walking back to the hotel. We had easy access to both beaches and quiet hotel pools. The set price of a Taxi to/from the Romantic Zone was 100 pesos/$5.00. Thanks to the great Welcoming Team, we never had to wait more than a few minutes for a taxi. We were very impressed with the size and comfort of our Junior Suite on the 7th flr. We loved the large kitchenette, bathroom, sitting area and balcony. The refrigerator kept our items extremely cold. The bedding was very comfortable. When it came to staff, we experienced 5 star service from the Front Desk and the Welcoming Team. Special recognition to Salvador, Luis, Alberto, and Mario. They provided constant professional, friendly assistance and recommendations always with a smile. We enjoyed each of their pools for what they provide, but the 10th flr pool was our favorite for the best view. This facility would make a beautiful wedding venue. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which provided an array of hot, cold and sweet dishes. We so enjoyed this special hotel rather than the often congested beachfront hotels. We highly recommend this hotel for its unique and pleasant experience.
