Hotel Mousai

Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta is a class act all around. From the concierge upon arrival to the rooftop pool staff / bartenders etc .. wait staff at all restaurants to the housekeeping staff !! Highly impressed with Auturo and Omar at the South rooftop pool .. Deniz Lopez was our room attendant she was spectacular with keeping our room spotless and fully stocked with towels , waters , snacks etc …each and everyday of our stay. We will definitely be back to Hotel Mousai in the future and recommend to family and friends !

This is my second time staying at Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta. The hospitality is way above what I’ve ever experienced our butler Alan Aguirre what’s phenomenal he was able to reserve all of our meals as well as refill anything we needed in our room. All the employees were very professional and friendly from the porters to the bellhops to the bartenders waiters and concierge. We ate at two different restaurants, and they were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed our anniversary being celebrated by the restaurants. The rooftop had an amazing view as well as our room with a hot tub on the patio. The bed was comfy. The shower had a steam built-in to it everything that we’ve ever dreamed of and we’re delighted that we would keep coming back. Great job!!

The hotel was bright with modern somewhat kitschy interiors. Rooms and beds are super comfy. Staff is well trained, enthusiastic, and ready to please. No complaints whatsoever. Location is fantastic! I loved hiking, kayaking and other activities that Mousai had to offer. Now, why I gave it 3 stars. We had all inclusive. Food was plentiful, nobody would ever go hungry for sure. Cocktails, wine and bar food were great. Now, it was impossible to make dinner reservations any earlier than 8pm. Fruit and salads were fresh and good tasting. Unfortunately, all cooked dishes I tried were rather simplistic. We tried a lot of them since restaurants push this “tapas-like” option in sushi and Chinese restaurants. Perhaps Bocado steak house had good steaks but ordering one for myself was out of the question due to super late dinner. Salmon was just blah. Premium choices on menus are scam. The food is simply not worth of what they charge. Canned crab meat is not my idea of a premium meal. Bottom line, good to stay at and to have breakfast. I’d skip dinner.

My wife and I spent our anniversary vacation at Mousai. From start to finish, the service could not have been better. Lilith, our butler, helped us with dinner reservations and was willing to help with anything wanted or needed. We did not take her up on her offers to have our clothes ironed or to pack for us prior to departure. At the rooftop bar (south tower), food and drinks flowed smoothly and efficiently by a variety of servers (Edgar, Rafael, and Alejandro). They seemed to have ESP always being there just as you wanted another beverage or just as you became hungry. Also, remembering your favorites. Omar was there to take care of your wants and needs that were not food and beverage related. Need a towel, Omar was there. Need more sun? More shade? Omar was there. Want your shades cleaned? Omar, dressed as the Sunglass Doctor, was there to clean your sunglasses. Mikaela, the hostess with the mostest, was always available for any special requests or needs you could have. She was always in good spirits and had a smile on her face all day.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta for our honeymoon, and to say it exceeded expectations would be an understatement. We booked a Corner Jungle Suite and the moment we walked in, we knew we made the right choice — the room was breathtaking, beautifully designed, and felt like a private sanctuary in the clouds. The entire property is immaculately maintained — every corner, every hallway, every view feels like it was curated for luxury and tranquility. What set the experience apart, though, was the staff. Every interaction was warm, attentive, and genuine. They didn’t just provide service — they elevated the entire stay. From sunrise to sunset, it felt like we were living in a postcard. Peaceful, romantic, and indulgent in all the right ways. This wasn’t just a vacation; it was a memory we’ll carry for the rest of our lives. If you’re looking for a truly elevated honeymoon or special occasion getaway, Hotel Mousai delivers an unmatched experience. Highly recommended.
