One&Only Mandarina

I've been to many resorts in Mexico and O&O was incredible. The setting was in the jungle with villas overlooking the pacific ocean. The amenities were top notch. We loved the spa as well as the restaurants!

This place is fantastic, beautiful and one of our favorite places we have ever been. The only reason we did not put excellent is because the privacy of the tree house we had was not private at all. There was a road that ended right outside our balcony where the staff was constantly parking golf carts to service other villas. They felt right out side all the time and there was little to no screening either.

If I could give this resort 1000 stars, I would. It's one thing to feel like everyone just goes thru the motions, and it's another to feel like everyone you encounter truly cares. I needed this getaway very much, and I loved the experience because of the staff. The villa was spectacular and private, and extremely clean. I loved the activities and all the small touches.

This hotel is the definition of peace and privacy. The treehouses and villas are scattered among the hills of the property and you are literally living in the rainforest (among and above the trees). Most of the villas cannot even be seen from the beach and common areas. We loved our private pool, but spent the majority of our time at the beach, which is protected by a jetty and is mostly safe for swimming. The food was exceptional, particularly at Carao and then the Jetty Beach Club for lunch. But best of all, as in all of Mexico, were the wonderful people that made our stay so special. Jonathan and Angel were our excellent hosts who helped with every need and question. Antonio, Luis, and Ana at The Treetop bar were exceptional and we so enjoyed our time with them. Same with Jorge (Tio) at Carao pool and restaurant. All were very proud of the food, drinks, and culture of Mexico and shared that pride and knowledge with us. The service everywhere was top notch. This hotel is amazing. Everyone from our host, to the cleaning staff were so nice and attentive. The scenery is magical, all the wild life, and the architecture, this place is simply stunning, I can’t wait to go back!
