You really feel like you are on a James Bond island just in front of Puno on the lake. This Hotel has a beautiful location with fantastic views over lake Titicaca. A highlight was definitely the bubble pool & sauna (perfect after a cold day on the lake) and the nice lounge with open fire & delicious drinks. We also enjoyed the tasty food in the restaurant (even though the service was a little inconsistent). The rooms are a little dated but everything was very clean. Staff was also very helpful. Overall I can highly recommend staying here if you are in Puno, a perfect Hotel for relaxing and warming up during your Lake Titicaca stay.

We stayed for two nights in Peru's off season, but you would never have known. The staff were totally brilliant, professional, warm and made the whole experience perfect. Night one we ate in the bar and Paul the bartender looked after us with expertly made drinks. Night two, we ate in the restaurant and Paul, again, looked after us. We eat out a lot in London and this was a meal to remember. The service was just right: attentive but not too much. The food was unbelievable. Everything fresh and home grown. Great wine recommendation and a knockout tiramisu to finish. I cannot fault our stay. Thank you to the team.

We spent two days in Puno, and one night of that was in this hotel. It’s not a five-star hotel, but honestly it’s not really four-star either—it’s somewhere between three and four stars. It may have been a higher-category hotel once, but it isn’t anymore. The rooms are spacious, but everything feels worn: the furniture, the bathroom, where the top layer of the bathtub is peeling off. The window cannot be opened at all, and as a result warm air gets trapped inside and everything becomes humid—even the window itself. The TV remote didn’t have working batteries at first; they eventually replaced them, but even then you couldn’t control the TV from the bed unless you sat right at the foot of it. However, the biggest issue with the hotel isn’t the room, but the location. It’s on a small peninsula near the edge of Puno, and you won’t be walking into the city in the evening—especially not to the city center. Overall, it’s a fairly pleasant hotel. I’d recommend booking it only when it’s cheaper, because that’s about what it’s worth—it definitely doesn’t justify a higher, five-star price.

Location is the best in all of Puno. Staff is friendly. No atm. Older rooms and open areas. Very worn. Food so so.

We had the breakfast buffet at this restaurant which included gluten free options. It was great since we were staying at the hotel anyway and had excursions planned for the day. For dinner it was table service and we were served by Frank who did an excellent job helping accommodate me with the menu. They have quite the variety of choices, again all this with an amazing view of Lake Titicaca!
