Titilaka: an adventure for the eyes, the taste buds, and the heart Here, Jhon greets you at the airport with a smile so radiant that, if it were night, you’d find your way to paradise with the headlights off. That smile multiplies in every person who works to make you feel truly special. Life here is simple: no TV, just a lake that feels like an ocean, and your window becomes the bow of a ship. The food is delicious without ever being pretentious. And your eyes will never tire of discovering magic in every corner. We must have done something good for life to gift us moments like this. Thanks to those who designed this experience: true geniuses in the idea, and even more in the life they brought to it.

An unforgettable stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Stayed 3 nights in a Dawn room with fantastic views over the lake. The hotel had 18 rooms spread over three floors connected by stairs (there’s no elevator). The staff were helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed the delicious food in the house restaurant with panoramic views over the blue waters. Participated in the Uros and Taquile islands tour with a fellow guest and astronomy presentation with stargazing.

Exceptional hotel to in an unforgettable place

I really enjoyed my 3 night stay starting with my pick up at the Juliaca airport. It is a trek to get there but well worth it. They made every effort to make sure you are as comfortable as possible from the moment you are picked up. When you reach the hotel you are completely wowed by the beautiful location. I was upgraded to a spectacular room with an incredible view. All the staff are friendly and efficient . The food was excellent and plentiful. I really enjoyed all the excursions, I did an island tour, a hike and a bike ride, all with Abel who was an excellent guide. Visiting the floating island is an unforgettable experience which I would highly recommend. I have already recommended to friends planning a trip to Peru and will continue to do so.

Ultimate Titicaca location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

The lodge is about 1h transfer from Puno train station, but absolutely worth the longer drive compared to other hotel options. The last 10min drive are on an unpaved road, but not a problem at all. Location is on a promontory above the lake, with beautiful lake views, sunsets and sunrises. The restaurant and bar has a terrace with spectacular views, where a friendly team seves quality food and drinks. The rooms are modern and well equipped, the bathtubs with a view and a very nice walk-in shower were a highlight. The heating system did not work, but adequate heating was provided via the air conditioning system. A recommendation would be to improve lighting in the driveway and the hotel entrance, which would make for a better experience when arriving in the dark. A definite highlight of the hotel is its excursions program, which is included in the stay. Starting from a private dock, with a private guide, makes for a very individual experience. The hotel’s excursions have access to places less frequented by the commercial tour operators, and the day tours are tailored to individual requests. We would not hesitate to come here again for a next visit to lake Titicaca.
