Wonderful family vacation! Everything was perfect from start to finish. We enjoyed a complimentary pickup from the airport to our hotel, Eden Roc Cap Cana for a seamless transfer. Our 2-bedroom Villa was absolutely stunning and perfect for a family of 5. It was spacious and came equipped with our own private pool, 3 massive bathrooms with outdoor showers plus huge jacuzzi tubs, kitchen and living space. The property itself has so much to offer - golf, pristine white sand beach with crystal clear water and multiple pools, complimentary kids club that my boys kept asking to go back to with kayaks!, a plethora of dining options and being a Relais & Chateau property you know the food is spectacular. But what makes this property so special is the hospitable staff that went above and beyond - in particular our butlers who were assigned to our Villa Anthony and Braulio. There were so thoughtful and had daily surprises for our kids and truly went out of their way to deliver the most amazing service all with a smile. Thank you so much to the entire staff - Anthony, Braulio, George, Stephanny, Pedro, plus the ladies at the kids club and at the ice cream stand we paid multiple visits to. We loved DR and can’t wait to return to Eden Roc Cap Cana.

We have traveled allot in the Caribbean and this was our favorite to date. The property is amazing and the management, staff and food were all amazing also. Can’t wait to return.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Eden Roc at Cap Cana. The resort itself is stunning, but what truly made our visit unforgettable was the exceptional service — especially from Hil, who cared for our family with such kindness and thoughtfulness. From anticipating our needs to making sure every detail was perfect, Hil went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. We left feeling so well cared for and grateful for the beautiful memories made. Highly recommend Eden Roc to anyone looking for a luxurious yet family-friendly escape in the Dominican Republic.

We recently returned to Eden Roc, a place we’ve been visiting regularly since 2020. All our favorite parts were unchanged: the weather, the beach, the rooms, the food & beverage, the sincere and friendly staff. But there were some surprises, too. An improved cocktail menu at one restaurant. A new Milanese at another. A staff member proud of being promoted since we saw him in May. A new room type we hadn’t experienced before. Some places fall apart on close inspection. Eden Roc reveals new wonders.

We stayed for 8 nights and, unfortunately, the experience didn’t match the resort’s reputation—or the price. Our room had multiple maintenance issues (recurring hot water problems, etc.) that were never resolved. The entire resort showed a lot of wear and tear. The pool consistently had LOTS of bird droppings. We also had problems with the final bill, and the staff’s response was curt and unhelpful. On the plus side, the food on property was very good. The downside is that options were limited, which meant we went offsite several nights. Dinners at nearby resorts (especially the St. Regis next door) were excellent, and we also enjoyed walking around and dining at the Cap Cana marina. Although the staff worked extremely hard to clear seaweed (even on the 1 day it stormed the entire day and nobody was outside), the beach itself is rocky and not particularly picturesque. We generally stayed at the pool, which is somewhat disappointing for a Caribbean destination. Bottom line: Eden Roc Cap Cana cost roughly double what we’ve paid at other very nice all-inclusive resorts in the region, yet delivered a worse overall experience. The value just isn’t there. Until maintenance, cleanliness, service, and variety improve, I’d look elsewhere.
