Everything was great—the service, the food, and the staff. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room was very comfortable, the facilities were beautiful and pleasant, and the overall atmosphere was wonderful. We had a great experience and would definitely come back!

We had an exceptional time! Thanks to Juliana at front desk, we immediately felt the hospitality. She was so kind getting our baby a little toy and sending him a happy birthday cake as we were here to celebrate his birthday. Our small family enjoyed the amenities, the great breakfast buffet, and the pool food was great for kids and adults. I enjoyed the spa with Javier and Ana truly giving me a thoughtful experience and I’m grateful to have felt like family in this hotel. All of the staff was excellent. We got amazing photos with Wendy with an in-house photographer on the beach and it really is a luxury hotel that feels like home.

We were very pleasantly surprised, especially for the overall cost which was very reasonable for what we ultimately experienced! We arrived at the tail end of the holidays in early January and much preferred the last few days when the pools etc were quieter. Our daughter had an amazing time attending some of the kids activities! Beautiful views, mostly kind and helpful staff. Overall we had a wonderful experience. Some improvements could be made easily. Chipped/old paint and stains on poolside tables etc just turns the luxury factor down. Also oddly restrictive hours for the more casual dining options. No food at beach bar after 7 which is a missed opportunity. And too many chairs in arguably the most beautiful relaxed atmosphere of the resort by the beach bar are sectioned off for Smores for pre reserved families. A cute idea but casual dining and drinks would be lovely in this space and it seems a missed opportunity! Breakfast was good. Overall we got tired of the dining hours and rules and went to town most nights - but we’d have loved to stay at the resort had it been more relaxed with greater options!

The property is beautiful. and the staff are mostly kind and helpful. However, there are more Cons than Pros.Don't use the hotel transport since it is about $350 from the airport, instead choose Uber for about $35. Located far from anything, you must rely on the onsite dining options and they all leave much to be desired All are outdoors except for breakfast, when it is ironically the coolest part of the day. -fill up at the breakfast buffet since it is better in all ways than the restaurants! At dinner you wind up sticking to your seat in the heat -the fans do nothing to cool you off. The highly rated Codex is pretty, but the food is bland and overpriced. Mezquite Grill is a tad better and slighltly cheaper but the chefs apparently don't like to add flavor here either.Paleta is OK, it serves poolside as well but the menu is very limited. Drinks at all of these places start at $21 which is ridiculous since they skimp on the alcohol. There is nothing to do at the beach -no jet skis, paddle boards, parasailing or any of the activitiers you normally find at the beach in Mexico. Also - no lifeguard so good luck if you are not a strong swimmer. Security is tight, they won't let just anyone come on to the property. The rooms are lovely and housekeeping is great! That said - why would a 5 star hotel not have Mini Bars? You get water, which is nice, and coffee but there is no way to get a simple snack in your room or in the hotel itself. There is no gift shop onsite. We noticed that the staff is obsequious to a fault with the white American guests, but if you are latin they almost ignore you -the Paleta staff and pool bar were the worst. We went to Mexico for fun and flavor but instead we got bland, white bread. Even the music is all in English and no more exciting than Muzak. I would not return to this location and will instead seek out a more authentic, Mexican experience with spice and fun.

This is an exceptional resort. The pools are beautiful, the beach goes on for miles and is wonderfully maintained, and the food is excellent. I have to mention the excellent service that goes above and beyond by everyone! Mariana who took our room service breakfast orders (we ate every morning on our patio and enjoyed the ocean view) was exceptional! I also love how serene the resort is. We absolutely did not want a loud party crowd and this is quiet, beautiful, uncrowded, and elegant. The food and cocktails are great at all the restaurants too. Love it here and can’t wait to come back soon!
