Los Altos Resort

From the moment we arrived the staff at Jungle Vista were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and service was always with a smile - some of the best customer service we’ve ever experienced. Our room was very comfortable and spotless with a spacious balcony. Breakfast was excellent as was all the food we ate during our stay. Although close to the road, the hotel is quiet and peaceful unless the macaws or Howler monkeys are visiting the jungle at the back of the hotel! It is a relatively small resort with breathtaking view, wonderful pool, private beach and an exceptional service. Everyone is warm, attentive and welcoming. Everyone at the front desk (thank you Melissa!) , housekeeping, drivers and restaurant staff (special gratitude to you, Jefferson!) make you feel welcome and at home. In addition to their private beach, the resort runs shuttle to the public beach as well (which is just steps away from the Manuel Antonio National Park). All and all, we had a great spring break vacation here! L

Los Altos Resort was absolutely incredible, and we would return in a heartbeat. We stayed in one of the townhouses, and it exceeded all of our expectations. It was private, beautifully appointed, incredibly spacious, and so relaxing. The ocean view was stunning, and the plunge pool was a definite highlight. The bed was also one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in at any hotel. What truly set Los Altos apart was the service. It was some of the best we have ever experienced anywhere. From the concierge to our butler to the restaurant staff, every single person went out of their way to make our stay special and memorable. The attention to detail throughout the property was exceptional. We also loved the size of the resort. It's small, intimate, and feels exclusive, which creates such a relaxing atmosphere. The beach was another standout, almost like a private oasis, with beautiful water and a peaceful setting. While the property is hilly, it was never an issue for us. The golf cart service was fantastic; staff were always happy to pick us up and take us wherever we needed to go. The location is also excellent, within easy walking distance of the main road, where you'll find plenty of wonderful restaurants. We highly recommend Los Altos Resort to anyone visiting the Manual Antonia area It was an unforgettable stay, and we would absolutely love to return.

We stayed for a few days. It was magical. We stayed in the Townhouse for adults only where we had an unobstructed view of the rainforest and the ocean. We also had our own pool from our room. Both mornings we woke up to the animals and the view! Lots of monkeys, birds, coatis, and other cute animals you could see from both balconies. The food was also amazing! We did a sunset treetop aperitif, and it was heavenly. A true swinging bridge to a treehouse for amazing appetizers and sparkling wine. The sunset was amazing! Glen was amazing that night and each time he waited on us at the restaurant. So friendly and kind. We also did the private beach lunch down by the beach cove - unbelievable ceviche, drinks, and plantain chips. Jeremy was the best beach attendee - so friendly and kind also. He was so knowledgeable about the beach area too. We ended yesterday with a 3 hr couples spa treatment with two of the best spa massages we have ever had! We definitely felt relaxed and the views were amazing. Finally, our house manger Carlos (Charley) was simply amazing. He always thought ahead of ways to make this quick trip even more special than we had planned, and he always knocked it out of the park!!! Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer! Thank you thank you!!! Counting down to coming back!
