4/5 – A Luxurious Stay with a Few Surprises
The Darling is undeniably a beautiful and luxurious hotel — plush, moorish interiors, extremely comfortable rooms, and excellent facilities nearby. It’s in a great location and feels every bit like a premium stay. A couple of things to note: breakfast and the gym are located in different areas, which can feel a bit disjointed when you’re expecting everything under one roof. I also found that while many staff were helpful especially at reception, others in different areas of the hotel and facilities, came across as slightly stand‑offish, which made me feel a little less at ease than expected for a hotel of this calibre. That said, the comfort of the rooms and the overall quality of the property make it a strong choice. With a bit more warmth in service consistency, it could easily be a five‑star experience.

Very thoughtful service overall
I’ve visited Sydney to meet my special friend and celebrate her birthday. I told the hotel about it when booked, didn’t request anything but they were truly amazing they upgraded our room to harbor view on 15th floor and made our stay unforgettable. Thank you so much!! Highly recommended.

Best front desk customer services
We stayed at the Darling Hotel in Sydney last weekend again, as always we had the best customer services from the front desk Ms Dita and Mr Tristan. Ms Dita not only helped us with our booking but also made us feel welcomed as always we truly enjoyed our time of staying with great deal of appreciations. Mr Tristan helped us for the extended stay as we were still like to have one more extra day of staying with no booking. Thank you again and we will be keep coming back and staying at the Darling Sydney.

Amazing stay
We stayed at The Darling for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The Darling has everything that you need, amazing rooms, great customer service with wonderful bars and restaurants at your doorstep. Our stay has been fantastic. I would like to mention the impeccable service by Cedar and Tristan at front reception. I would highly recommend The Darling!

Amazing holiday experience. Would highly recommend. Rooms were modern with high end finish. Fabulous bathroom. Beds very comfy with comfy pillows and nice bedding. Would highly recommend this hotel
