Exellent place to stay in Sydney , very well located , the hotel was clean, modern and breakfast was delicious ! Special thanks to Alan , that recived us in front desk speak perfect spanish and gave us a lot of very useful recomendations , we told him it was our wedding anniversary and he send us a tray of chopped fruit as a gift that made our day really special ! Definetly will be back again !

If you want to feel truly welcomed, experience genuine hospitality and excellence - The Darling at the Star is a fine choice. From the moment we arrived - being greeting by the friendly doormen, we were impressed. Our luggage was efficiently stored until our room was available. The staff kindly arranged to have our room available three hours earlier than scheduled. The decor of the lifts makes them a pleasure to use. We felt we had "made friends" as all the staff were so pleasant. We were hosted during our entire six day stay by a warm and friendly senior management staff member, who made considerable effort to make us feel at home. An unexpected bonus was the two nights of entertainment at the grand piano in the lobby. Both pianists on both nights, were very talented and welcoming to us. We sat in comfy tub chairs, sipped, chatted and listened to professional pianists. The decor of the lobby is stylish, multiple quiet areas with quality reading material. Our package included meals, both the Italian and Japanese restaurants were exceptional. Room service food was exceptional. The room service personnel were professional and charming. The housekeeping staff were professional, friendly and ensured we had an extras we requested. The room itself was large, the bed was the best we have experienced. The things that make a difference to a longer stay were all provided - a full length couch, a table for two, robes, dual basins, lovely quality bathroom products etc. The two queries we had were handled so efficiently by reception and housekeeping. An excellent location for walking to restaurants, the fish market, Paddy's market, the carousel etc. I cannot give enough stars! Congratulations to the entire team at The Darling.
