The Darling

We were upgraded to the Stella suite for my Birthday from Ali . We were so impressed , it was beautiful with Harbour View. Thank you to the Darling staff , I had so much fun .

Exceptional stay at the darling, from the moment of check in a lovely philipno lady maybe Named Tita?, with a big welcoming smile greeted us and checked us in promptly and smoothly, she helped direct us for dinner and gave recommendations to which restaurant would suit us. The room was stunning, absolutely flawless and so well kept, comfortable bed and pillows, a late checkout was just perfect. Thank you for a wonderful stay we will be back.

From booking to check-in and check-out our every need was meet. The location was fabulous you could walk to the CBD and The Fish market as well as to TikTok/ICC. The Darling King room was absolutely beautiful, the cleanliness and beautiful decor and views were amazing. Being close to the Casino and restaurants the atmosphere was fabulous. Definitely value for money. Thank you everyone for making our stay memorable.🙏

Good location, comfortable room, and excellent customer service. We stayed at The Darling for 3 nights in Feb 2026. The room we booked had ample space, was clean, and we were greeted with smiles by all the staff working there, and we were well looked after throughout our whole stay. On our 2nd night, we had some issues with our in-room spa bath, and our shout-out to Tiago addressed the issue promptly, even if it was like midnight already, with no hesitation, but strived to provide us a solution. We ended up moving rooms and got a free upgrade to one of their penthouse suite! While the room we booked was already a premium one, it was nothing compared to the one we got invited into. It definitely has made a great and unforgettable memory for our birthday trip in Sydney. On top of that special surprise, other services like asking for our preference of housekeeping time each day, in-room dining, and general guides around the hotel, have always made us feel like this is truly a hotel that puts its guests first. We have stayed at The Star in both their Residence and the Darling for a lot of the times we come to Sydney, but this time was truly one of the best we had, and we will definitely come back for more in our next trip to Sydney.
