Altogether a pleasant highway business hotel
We were pleasantly surprised by the Hotsson Querétaro. It's alongside a busy highway at the edge of the city, with no sites of interest nearby, so it doesn't look too promising.. But it's just a short ride from the bus station, and about a $5 taxi or Uber to the center of town, or a half-hour by local bus, with a transit card. There's an enormous Chedraui supermarket a ten-minute walk away. Rooms are comfortable, with the usual toiletries and amenities expected at a business-class hotel. We found all of the staff agreeable, and the front desk gave us a late checkout with no hassles. The pool is small, but it's well heated, and it's mostly sheltered from the wind in the cooler months. The food was a pleasant surprise: many dishes available at breakfast, and creative dinner options. We ordered the sábana de pollo (a large chicken filet rolled over fillings with avocado and bacon flakes) , then ordered it again the next night. It's worth it to upgrade to the executive floor for the included buffet breakfast and evening drinks and snacks.

The hotel was excellent and would stay again the next time. Location was convenient with The HUB and Grocery store next door.

The rules for laundry service are not clear enough. I'm not sure what day of the week to offer the laundry service can eliminate unnecessary fees.

Missed Wakeup
I had 3:30 am wakeup request to catch early flight. NO WAKEUP as REQUESTED!!! Thankfully I engaged my cell phone alarm, JUST IN CASE!
