Excellent staff and service. The property and gardens are lovely, and the rooftop bar has great views of Cayambe, if you’re luckily enough to see it cloudless as we were. Maria Emilia was super helpful with planning my stays.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location and our favourite part of Quito. The room was slightly smaller than we expected but the comfort more than made up for it. The service from all the staff was great too. I think you'll do well to find a nicer hotel in Quito

Beautiful hotel in the central of old Quito. However stay away from their restaurant for dinner. Their food was mediocre. Lamb was cold, 3 fish, 2 were dry and one was undercooked. A/C in the room was not operating properly. For the amount we paid to stay for 2 nights, it is not worth the money.

The hotel is beautiful and located in the heart of colonial Quito. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the food is excellent. The staff is warm and friendly. Would highly recommend this luxury boutique hotel to anyone staying in Quito.

It was a veritable treat to stay at the Hotel Casa Gangotena. The ambience was lovely, the service was fabulous, the room was comfortable, and the food/beverage service was outstanding. Due to a late plane, we arrived at 3 a.m., and were made to feel comfortable and welcome in spite of the late hour. Breakfasts were served in their beautiful, cosy dining room with a combination of buffet and made-to-order items. We enjoyed afternoon coffee in the bar and drinks at the roof top bar. The waiter provided blankets and turned on the heaters when the afternoon turned chilly on the roof top bar. We had dinner one evening in their restaurant. We especially enjoyed the potato soup, duck breast, and Ecuadorian wines. We highly recommend the Gangotena.
