We had a wonderful stay here - it is a beautiful hotel! Everyone is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The food is excellent, with excellent service! We were only there for one night on Christmas eve. We had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed the views from the roof. We also enjoyed walking into the square which was alive on Christmas eve.

Oh my gosh, what a treat it is to stay at Casa Gangotena. We (sadly) only stayed here one night on our way home from the Amazon, and our stay could have only been better if it were longer. The staff is welcoming and courteous, the rooms are clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had drinks and snacks at the rooftop bar - some of the best cocktails we have had anywhere on the planet. We left for the airport early in the morning (before 5am!) and they sent us on our way with a boxed breakfast, a really nice touch. I will definitely stay here on our next trip to Quito!
