Casa Gangotena Boutique Hotel

Stunning hotel - at an amazing location. We had the top 2 suites - with a connecting hallway great for families. Large rooms that easy fitted the third bed for the kids. We had a lovely private terrace with view on the statue overseeing the city. Staff was attentive, the breakfast was great with combination of buffet and à la cart options. Location enables beautiful view and easy visit to the old town

Amazing hotel and exceptional service levels. I had a great room with a room facing the square. The sound proofing is excellent. I loved the quiet courtyard in the middle filled with carefully curated plants. Even hummingbirds visited. I am extremely impressed with the restaurant cuisine. Easily the best I have tried in Quito. Location is in the Old Town which is charming. Just be aware not to wander out late at night. Love this hotel.

Very nice remodeled colonial hotel with a fine restaurant. Perfect location in Quito next to the cathedral.

We loved our stay here, the biggest shoutout goes to Anghelo on the terrace. He is the sweetest soul my wife, sister and future brother in law have ever met. He is a special human being that made this stay truly remarkable. We will never forget our evening on the terrace at the Casa. Can’t recommend this hotel and Anghelo ENOUUGH

In the heart of Centro Historico in Quito, Casa Gangotena is a luxurious oasis in the bustling city. Opulent and unashamedly indulgent, it is a spectacularly beautiful building. The service is attentive yet understated, the rooms airy and elegant, and the restaurant excellent. It is not cheap, especially for Ecuador, but it is worth the indulgence for a night or two to spoil yourself. The view from the rooftop bar and terrace is gorgeous, especially on a clear evening. They can arrange tours if you so wish, around Quito and beyond. The courtyard garden beyond the stunning conservatory whirrs with hummingbirds. Altogether, a quite unforgettable place.
