Avani Quy Nhon Resort & Spa

Avani is by far our favorite place to stay in Quy Nhon. The rooms offer great value for money, and the staff always goes above and beyond to make sure we have a wonderful experience. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay, which we truly appreciate. The beach is stunning, spotless, and beautifully peaceful — exactly what we love. Highly recommend, and we can’t wait to be back!

This was one of the most relaxing resorts I have ever stayed at. A big reason is the exceptional service I received. The service was top-notch, and the staff was very attentive to my needs. Furthermore, the food options were another reason behind my excellent rating. There were plenty of food items to choose from and the quality was very good.

I stayed here for four nights with all-inclusive. The room was very comfortable and clean - the staff replenished drinking water frequently, and I was impressed by how thoroughly the room was cleaned. The view from the room was stunning. The hotel itself is out of town, which was fine for me because I wanted more relaxation and recovery time, but to be mindful for people looking to get around more easily, it wasn't always easy to get a Grab. The hotel staff were always happy to order a taxi so there are other options. The restaurant staff were so lovely, very accommodating. I have a severe nut allergy, and I felt very safe eating here. The only downside was that there were lots of ants in the room, none in or on the bed, but most other surfaces; it didn't impact me too much. And it wasn't super easy to order a drink at the pool bar; I often found it unattended, which was a shame for an all-inclusive package to feel that I didn't really get that.

I reserved Avani for a last minute trip to Quy Nhon and was through and through impressed by everything this resort has to offer. Quy Nhon airport is a way out of the city center (~20km) and the resort is ~10km from the city center. The ride from the airport to the resort was ~45-60 mins. Quang, the person who picked us up made the entire journey felt short with his kindness and welcoming nature. Quang waited for us at the airport with a sign. As soon as we got into the van, Quang offered us fresh towels and water. As we passed different landscapes on our way, Quang gave us brief introduction of each site. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Giang and Cuong. Check in service was a breeze. The room is beautifully designed; the moment you open the door, view of the sandy beach and ocean immediately filled your eyes. You even have a large window in the shower, overlooking the same gorgeous view. Once you open the sliding door, you are now out in the balcony, smelling the fresh ocean air. On the table inside the room, a plate of fresh local fruit is waiting for you. Overall, the first impression of the room was amazing. One extra touch that I enjoy so much was the sweet goodnight message on a green leaf left on the bed during evening turn down service. The infinity pool, while small, is nice for a quick dip. The pool bar has happy hour from 5-7pm everyday B1G1. I really enjoyed the services provided by the friendly Luc and Thoa. Thoa was great at cocktail making as well. Dinner at Tre restaurant was great. Sunny is gregarious and friendly, making sure that you feel at home while you are there. Highly recommended spa services at sister resort Anantara next door. Shout out to my therapist Kieu for being a miracle worker who melted away all of my body's aches. Another thing that makes Avani so enjoyable to me is the gorgeous sandy clean beach. The sand is so fine and white. The ocean is clear, blue and clean; I could see fish with my bare eyes. Within a short 10 minutes walk on the beach, you can reach the next door fishing village to enjoy some freshly caught seafood and see local folks go about their day. Avani is secluded enough to give a sense of privacy, while also accessible enough to let you explore a little. I truly enjoyed my time at Avani through and through and would gladly return at the next chance given.

Our stay at the hotel was the crowning glory of our two-week vacation in Vietnam, and after many days of sightseeing, this charming hotel with a private beach and delicious food was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the charms of the country.
