Avani Quy Nhon Resort & Spa is a restful, exotic alternative to Southeast Asia’s beach scene. Nestled among age-old fishing villages, there’s ample opportunity for cultural exploration. Fish with a local in the nearby freshwater lake after a hike through dense vegetation inhabited by flying squirrels and monkeys, or soak up the areas fascinating history through visits to Cham temples and pagodas. Rooms are warmly appointed, with intricate ironwork and exposed brick accents complementing sea views.

Arrived and departed on the Vietage train by Anantara. Spent 3 nights at this quiet, beautiful hotel. Spa was amazing, so was the morning yoga class. Large room with view of ocean and beach. Highly recommend a stay here.

This resort is one of the very rare resorts with both forest & sea surrounding in Vietnam. Staffs are friendly and very attentive. Facilities are well maintained and eco-friendly. Though well fit group/family needs, the resort is perfect for solo travelers who want privacy yet cozy ambience.

Only found Quy Nhon as a destination after finding the Vietage Train journey. The Vietage is a wonderful experience. A 6 hour journey from Da Nang to Quy Nhon with fine dining and a great way to see the countryside and only 7 people in our carriage. We arrived in Qui Nhon to be met by a taxi that took us to Avani Resort to find the only guests were the 7 people from the Vietage, so we basically had the wole resort to ourselves. The resort was a little dated, but still very clean and comfortable. The rooms were extremely large and well appointed. All rooms are pretty much on the beach and ours was only a few steps from the pool and restaurant. The beach is only accessible to resort guests. The real gems are the staff. They are just so friendly and accomodating. As the resorts were so quiet, we were invited to have lunch at the sister property next door, Anantara, which is another level again. The food at both resorts was amazing and would highly recommend the whole experience (train and resort).

Lovely location! Quy Nhon and its beaches are so beautiful! The city itself and the surrounding countryside is so green and lush. There are many Champa era temples to visit. The property is beautiful. We choose a junior ocean view suite and we did not regret. The staff were all amazing - especially Giang, Diem, Thia and Cuong! My wife and I miss you guys already!
