From the moment we arrived at Alila KOTHAIFARU Maldives, we were completely swept away by the beauty, tranquility, and impeccable service. This resort is a true paradise – every corner feels like it belongs in a postcard, and every moment was thoughtfully curated to create a deeply relaxing and luxurious experience. Our villa was breathtaking – spacious, stylish, and completely private, with pool , private beach & stunning views of the ocean. The food was divine, with each meal offering fresh flavors and thoughtful presentation. Whether we were snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, enjoying a sunset dinner, or simply relaxing by the pool, every moment felt special. Highly recommend to visit the Spa for a special treatments - experience for body & soul, just magical ! The staff at Alila Maldives genuinely care about every guest’s experience. Their attention to detail, kindness, and high level of professionalism truly made this one of the best trips we’ve ever had. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already dreaming of coming back. For Alila and Yakitori Bar

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I spent five days at Alila, and besides the gorgeous views, the thing that stuck with me most was the Yakitori Bar. The food there is so tasty and nicely done. And the folks there—Cha na ka, ARYA, ALEX—they’re all super friendly and know their stuff. I’ll definitely keep missing my time at Alila.

The great Alila team made up for a few cloudy days

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The resort is great and everyone is very helpful. Great fitness facilities, everything within walking distance and even though not everything is brand new, it is quite well maintained. Snorkeling depends on the weather and tide, but if course this is nature. Special thanks to the employees in all areas of the resort. Chanaka & his team Alex & Ariya at Yakitori for the great cocktail shows and explanations, Frank, Ned & Damodar & their teams in the restaurants and Nasse, our Host and his Nephew. Glad we have chosen Alila this year for one of the islands we will visit.

Awesome honeymoon stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Alila is an amazing experience that I recommend to everyone. The food is incredible, the staff are personable, the villas are gorgeous, and the water is pristine. My wife and I went end of July, beginning of August to celebrate our honeymoon, and all our worries about rainy weather faded away after being greeted at the jetty by the lovely staff and watching the clouds peel back to reveal blue sky. We had gotten the half-board package which doesn’t include lunch, but having arrived mid-afternoon we were a bit hungry and so went to the Italian place, Pibati. Despite having to pay out-of-pocket, it was incredibly worth it. (I didn’t realize this before, but you pay your total bill upon checkout—my Discover credit card worked). Niya, our villa host, gave us a tour of the island (which takes very little time to drive around on the buggy) and settled us in to the beach villa. He was very quick to respond to questions or needs throughout our stay. We also met some especially personable staff at the various restaurants, including Cherry, Zachary, Vinna, and Arya. The beach is spectacular, and you can go snorkeling essentially everywhere around the island as long as the waves aren’t too big. We spent two nights at the sunset the beach villa and two at the sunset water villa. I personally liked the beach villa for its integration into the island’s lush vegetation, giving a greater sense of privacy. But the water villa was very nice, especially considering that you can climb down the ladder directly into the ocean where we saw many Nemo’s and other kinds of fish. While on the island, we were shocked by how much food was available at mealtimes. The half-board was more than enough in this regard. I’d also highly recommend going to the spa at least once. We did the romantic one which was the largest purchase we made outside of the package, but totally worth it. We also had honeymoon photos taken by Vishah—they turned out very well, and we ended up paying for 10 digital copies in addition to the complimentary print. The Yakitori bar was our first dinner on the island (that evening was the seafood buffet at Seasalt, and neither of us eat seafood). Oh my, the unlimited skewers were amazing. And sitting right next to the ocean as the sun was setting was awesome. I can’t say enough good things about our stay at Alila, and I can’t think of any bad things.
