Coming from Dubai, where luxury hospitality is the norm and expectations are exceptionally high, it takes something truly special to impress me—but this hotel exceeded every standard. From the moment I arrived, everything was flawless. The rooms felt brand new—beautifully designed, immaculately maintained, and finished to an exceptional standard. The entire resort was pristine, with every detail clearly cared for and thoughtfully executed. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the service. It was not just good—it was outstanding. Warm, attentive, and consistently above and beyond without ever feeling forced. The team made the stay feel personal, effortless, and genuinely memorable. A special thank you to April and Zain, who were both exceptional throughout. Their attention to detail and genuine care made a real difference, especially as I was celebrating my birthday. This resort is literally the definition of paradise. In terms of every single aspect - food, hospitality, nature, cleanliness, facilities, staff friendliness, activities - Intercontinental Maldives Maamunagau is without doubt top class, and I can guarantee there will never be any other place in the world which will beat the level of this amazing resort. We stayed in the Sunset Overwater Pool Villa and it was absolutely beautiful - swimming from your balcony into the Indian Ocean with some fish is something you would never be able to experience anywhere else. But the most fascinating point on this island is the snorkelling spot. It was a mindblowning experience - better than aquariums. I will never forget swimming in that spot of paradise. It is on the top of my list of places I want to return to for my next holiday, whether with friends, family or partner. I want to thank every staff we met here for a warm and amazing hospitality and treatment we were given.

The adult retreat was a highlight as well as the food and the friendly and attentive staff. Can really recommend this resort.

Wow what a beautiful experience. This is our second time visiting IC Maldives and it was even better this time around. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, always sharing a smile as we rode our bikes around the island. Standout team members were Arya, Arul, Vincent, Faromuz & Snehit. They each went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and fun. The lagoon is always a highlight for us, and we were happy to enjoy it with perfect weather conditions. We hope to visit again soon!
