Enjoyed a 7 night stay at Oberoi Rajvilas earlier this month and everything was just perfect from start to finish. The beautiful warm welcome we received upon arrival complete with being showered with rose petals and flower garlands and a blessing were just a taste of things to come. We stayed in a beautiful villa with a private pool that was spacious, luxurious and very comfortable, complete with lots of beautiful peacock visitors to our garden and pool area to watch and admire. In fact upon learning how very much I enjoyed the peacocks roaming around the hotel and the other wildlife too, a member of staff made sure I had nuts to feed them every morning. This is just one of the many lovely gestures and attention to detail that the many wonderful staff made. Nothing was too much trouble for them and each and everyone of them that we met contributed to our comfort and enjoyment on this very special stay. All the food and drinks we enjoyed during our stay were amazing and delicious and the bar and restaurant staff did everything in their power to ensure we enjoyed all we imbibed. Our personal butler Daniyal deserves a special mention for taking such good care of us and showering us with thoughtful and kind gifts each evening when we returned to our villa. This trip was to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and Daniyal made sure to give us lots of wonderful memories and experiences to enjoy during our stay. There are so many other members of staff that deserve mentioning but I’m afraid we can’t remember all their names. A wonderful young lady called Chavni, plus Novesh and Sameer and many others did a wonderful job of making us feel well looked after. Also much appreciation to all the housekeeping staff that keep everything spotless and gleaming and all the staff by the main pool. The Rajvilas really is heaven on earth and a perfect place to relax and unwind in busy, beautiful and vibrant Jaipur. Such a peaceful and serene sanctuary where your every wish is taken care of. Our stay in this very special place in this very special city will live in our memories and always bring a big smile to our faces.

We had a delightful stay. The grounds are beautiful, our room was comfortable, the bathroom was bright and airy, and the outdoor space we had out back was very private. Service was beyond what anyone could ask for. As a welcome gift, our child had his own platter of treats as well as a decorative pillow with his name embroidered on it. Food at the restaurant was excellent, and the chef himself came out to greet us, introduce us to a couple of dishes he had prepared, and sought our feedback on which variations we liked best. When we had to head out very early one morning to go on a leopard safari, the staff put together a box of breakfast food to bring with us in the car. At a certain point, it did feel a bit like too much service because everyone was paying such close attention to us, but we understood. One of the charms of this place is the abundance of birds that occupy the place. You'll see birds *everywhere,* from peacocks to thousands of parakeets. They get really loud at dusk, as they huddle together on tree branches for the night, then they all suddenly go quiet. Now, peacocks will get *loud* early in the morning. You may want to bring earplugs if you don't want to receive nature's morning calls at 5 am. Also, watch out for bugs flying into your room when you open your door at night. Overall, we had a delightful time and only wish we could have stayed longer.

Having visited their properties in Chandigarh Oberoi Sukh Vilas and in Ranthambore Vanya Vilas (2023) we have been enthralled and decided to have a large Family dinner at Oberoi Jaipur also called Raj Vilas. The property turns into a mesmerizing historic icon in the evening night lights, cultural music and dance and a superb attending staff who balance giving space-privacy and keen sharp eye to attending. In the heart of the property is a 300 year old temple of lord Shiva with its surrounding pond full of lotus blooms. Take this opportunity to thank Pratibha Seth , Vishal Virmani and Vivek Bhatt for their immense help in making our private dinner such an outstanding experience.

Incredible stay after a not so great stay with a competitive brand in another city in Rajasthan - breakfast was superb, diwali celebrations personal and wonderful, indian restaurant wonderful, room attendance outstanding and when we asked for a special tonic for the gin they made it available even if they did not have it in their repertoire… just superb reactivity. The lady in charge of food and beverage was perfect in every way. We loved our stay at Rajvilas.

We staid for four nights in September in a Premier Room with private pool. The hotel was simply amazing in every way and the highlight of our India trip. The grounds and public areas were beautiful, with traditional styling that suited the location. Our room featured a large pool which was perfect to cool off in after we concluded each day's tour (we may have been lucky to be allocated a pool that seemed larger than others we had seen on YouTube). The Indian restaurant had not yet opened for the season during our stay so we dined each night in the internationally themed venue. The food was exceptional and the team took care to observe any dietary restrictions and spice preferences (we like spicy food and they delivered!). The outdoor seating area with torches, live music and dancing made the experience feel very special. Above all else the service was exceptional. Genuinely friendly at every point, we were made to feel part of the hotel's family. Special thanks to Sameer who looked after us in the restaurant most evenings.
