We visted Rajvilas on April 06 for lunch (Multi cuisine restaurant) & Apr 12 for dinner (Rajmahal)). Given that my mom had certain dietary preferences, we had preordered a couple of food items. The team ensured that they were prepared basis our specifications. Once we are at the restaurant, the servicing experience was excellent. A special call out for Sandeep on both occassions. Great experience- thanks to him. All in all a fantastic time.

Our 3 night stay in a Luxury Tent was even more enjoyable as the vast hotel grounds, walled and designed as an outer ‘Fort’ area, with the main hotel reception and amenities building resembling a walled and towered Fort with its own water filled moat. The ‘Luxury Tent’ (with solid walls) in a private garden gave a feeling of being under canvas yet with luxury furniture and facilities. Peacocks were frequent welcome visitors into to our garden. Exquisite alfresco dining at the ‘RajMahal’ restaurant situated in the north of the extensive grounds near to the helipad. Walking in the grounds passing the tennis courts, the hotel’s own golf course, helipad, RajMahal restaurant, and the ancient Temple then relaxing with drinks and a swim at the ornate pool was an enjoyable afternoon prior to evening dining. Memorable dining alfresco in the ‘Suryamahal’ restaurant in the courtyard of the ‘Fort’, entertained by musicians and dancers with the backdrop of the fort walls, towers and columns of fire. Exceptionally well trained and attentive staff with their own personalities, large extremely well-kept gardens and structures, superb food and highest standards of a Luxury Hotel is Oberoi.

The Oberoi Rajvilas Jaipur is a small paradise. The grounds are impeccably maintained with flowering trees and peacocks. The dining is superb - their Rajasthani thalis are the best we'ver ever had. And the hotel staff is amazing - from being welcomed with rose petals, leis of marigolds, and cocktails to being carefully catered to throughout our stay, to being sent off in style, we felt like honored guests. This property well deserves its status as The Best Hotel in the World, as selected by Travel+Leisure in 2024.
