The Oberoi Vanyavilas, Ranthambhore

We had an incredible stay at Oberoi, Vanyavillas, one of our best holidays. The team is superbly led by the General manager, Ratna Malhotra who is an incredibly kind & caring manager, we felt as though we were in a family atmosphere (ofcourse with incredible service). I couldnt recommend more.

We recently stayed with our kids at the Oberoi Vanyavillas and our stay was nothing sort of exceptional. The service was truly excellent and the hotel and the entire staff went above and beyond and made us all feel very special and welcomed - especially our kids who were treated like royalty. The hotel is beautiful and well situated -only a 10 minute drive from the reserve and we had food and beverages packed for all our safaris with blankets provided to make our safari enjoyable. The restaurants at the hotel serve delicious food with great ambience. We definitely recommend this one of a kind hotel to anyone visiting Ranrhambore.

Our stay at The Oberoi Vanyavilas was the highlight of our entire trip to India. It’s the rare kind of place that feels both deeply luxurious and genuinely warm, and that is entirely because of the people. Ratna Malhotra, the General Manager, is exceptional. She personally greeted us every single day and somehow made the entire stay feel intimate and welcoming. Even after we checked out, she insisted we stay for dinner since it would be too late to eat at our next stop. The safari experience was incredible thanks to the dream team: Naturalist Khusbu, Driver Farook, and Guide Naveen. Khusbu was so knowledgeable and fun, with a real passion for wildlife conservation that made every drive more meaningful. We were especially inspired by her career dreams; you could feel how much she cares and how hard she works. Farook navigated the jungle with total skill and then still drove us to Jaipur afterward, getting us there early. Naveen had incredible eagle eyes and spotted wildlife we would never have noticed from a moving vehicle. Together, they made the safaris unforgettable - we saw 7 tigers, 2 leopards, and 1 sloth bear. Khusbu also gave us the sweetest parting gift. We mentioned in passing that we were curious about Indian gooseberries, and she remembered and personally gift wrapped them for us as we were leaving. It was such a small detail, but so memorable. Back at the lodge, housekeeping staff Soumen, Karan, and Jagpret left us a beautiful tiger toiletry bag and a handwritten note to commemorate our safari success, which felt so personal and thoughtful. And Aftab, our server, was consistently gracious and attentive, especially with my lactose intolerance. Every meal felt easy because he took such good care of us. We will never forget this stay. Fantastic service and property. Staff was incredibly attentive and anticipated my needs. They provided great culinary recommendations, and have a diverse line-up of activities for guests.

I’ve stayed at leading local and international hotels around the world and my stay at Oberoi would top them all. We arrived and we were met with luxury and tranquility. They made sure our safaris would go flawlessly. Our train was leaving at 11pm, long time after check out. Oberoi not only helped us freshen up in the spa, they also provided us lunch and dinner, and when they realized I fell sick they provided me a room to rest until the evening. All free of charge of course. This was an amazing stay - definitely stop by Oberoi Vanyavilās when you’re at Ranthambore. It’s not just a destination, it’s an unforgettable memory of high class hospitality.
