With its secluded location and bougainvillea-draped buildings, the intimate guest rooms are picture-perfect haciendas featuring a generous amount of square footage, hand painted tiles, mission-style fireplaces, exposed wooden beams, pitched ceilings and earthy stucco walls that are cool to the touch. The bathrooms, which are equally spacious and spa-like, are rich with tandem tubs and separate showers. French doors transition the indoors to a private outside garden where you are likely to find a sunken whirlpool or conversation pits for intimate entertaining.

This place is truly magical, once you get there you dont want to leave Staff is detailed oriented, amenities are top notch: if you feel relaxing the spa pool will not disappoint. If you are up for a challenge the fitness classes are fun, safe and challenging. If you are into trends don't miss the Padel courts

Magnificent place
We spent two unforgettable nights at Rancho Valencia, and it was pure magic from start to finish. The casita-style room was a dream—spacious, serene, and surrounded by orange blossoms and bougainvillea. Every meal was a delight, with farm-fresh ingredients and flavors. The entire place radiated warmth and elegance. And the service is impeccable. Thoughtful, kind, and genuinely caring. We left feeling deeply rested, pampered, and already plotting our return.

True luxury nestled in the hills of San Diego
What an experience! From the moment you enter the gates to the resort, to the moment you leave the property, it gives 5 star luxury service. The gate operator welcomed us in with such joy and let us know we’d have the best time, and he was right. At registration they welcomed us with eucalyptus dipped towels to clean our hands and when we got to our room, it felt like we walked into a small apartment. The room was huge! From the enormous luxurious restroom to the large outdoor patio, it was all fantastic.

I have been blessed to have been able to stay at some amazing hotels / resorts across the globe and would definitely rank Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa right at the top. Traditionally classy and warm without being overly opulent. Will certainly be going back.

Best place for Rejuvenation and Relaxation
Highly recommend this resort to recharge and relax! Friends had recommended RV to us and we could not be more happy with our experience. From beginning to end you are treated to top notch service and quality. From the spa to the class offerings to the racket sports facilities this property caters to your every need. You can do things you have never done before...for me I played Padel and took boxing classes. Meals were superb and it is so close to Del Mar and La Jolla so you can easily venture out if you want. Ten out of Ten...

Great resort! The only negative thing I can say is that our time there was too short! We were first time Luxury Link users - the service, meals, accommodations all exceeded our expectations. We have nothing but good things to say about this resort, what a wonderful treat. We have recommended Rancho Valencia as well as Luxury Link as a result of this trip.
