With its secluded location and bougainvillea-draped buildings, the intimate guest rooms are picture-perfect haciendas featuring a generous amount of square footage, hand painted tiles, mission-style fireplaces, exposed wooden beams, pitched ceilings and earthy stucco walls that are cool to the touch. The bathrooms, which are equally spacious and spa-like, are rich with tandem tubs and separate showers. French doors transition the indoors to a private outside garden where you are likely to find a sunken whirlpool or conversation pits for intimate entertaining.

This property is so fantastic—within the first few hours of arriving I was sad that we’d decided against spending a 3rd night. You’ll never tire of the excellent service, delicious food, and immaculately clean & comfy rooms. We already know that we’ll return. Such an easy trip from L.A!

Rancho Valencia is Sweet!
Rancho Valencia is sweet just like the amazing oj that is hand delivered to your suite every morning. Without a doubt this is one of my favorite places to be when I am not at home. Every team member makes it a point to make you feel at home.

An astounding luxury resort
Everything about Rancho Valencia is top notch, from the food to the staff and accommodations. When our flight was cancelled and we had to take a redeye the next day, we were allowed to stay in our room until 6 p.m., FOR FREE, which is an unbelievably gracious accommodation. If there was such a rating as 5+ this resort would justly deserve it.

A HUGE NO for the Spa (hotel and rooms are nice)
THIS is for the Spa and the Spa only. DO BETTER!! Every single time I try to book an appointment I get either (a) put on hold forever or (b) eventually sent to your voicemail. YOU ARE A 5 STAR PROPERTY and you can't answer the phone for your $$$ spa treatments?? How is this possible? I have never ever had an issue booking a spa service at a 5-star property except here. While I have stayed here a year ago (and the property is nice and rooms are nice), the SERVICE getting anything from the Spa is HORRIBLE!! DO BETTER!!

A perfect stay!
This is the top location my spouse and I choose to get away to each year. Beautiful grounds. Amazing accommodations. Fabulous staff. Gorgeoous spa that is also co-ed. It's fun to enjoy the spa together with my spouse. We couldn't ask for a better place to come relax and rejuvenate.

Great resort! The only negative thing I can say is that our time there was too short! We were first time Luxury Link users - the service, meals, accommodations all exceeded our expectations. We have nothing but good things to say about this resort, what a wonderful treat. We have recommended Rancho Valencia as well as Luxury Link as a result of this trip.
