Small rooms - Average service and slow staff. Hotel was in a great location and had brilliant facilities (beach club) but the overall experince could have been more polished. It took 4 request to recieve an ironion board.... We went for a wedding and would travel back again, hoping the issues were a 1 off.

The hotel needs renovations, public areas bathrooms litterally have no keys, beach restaurant food quality is very poor. I asked for fish and had to send it back as it was terrible. Position is outstanding but by no means is this 5 stars. Just bad

The resort is fantastic. One of a kind views, terraces over the Mediterranean, beautiful rooms, exceeding good room service, spectacular swimming pool. The hotel has excellent proximity to bustling Rapallo. The Lord Byron restaurant is very expensive and portions are small, but the service is excellent. Portofino is a short drive but the ferry there is easier. Clean hotel wirh very good housekeeping. Marco is excellent. Andrea is excellent. Federico is excellent and many at the Reception desk are excellent. Too many to mention. SERVICE IS A+ This is the place to stay and and we will gladly stay here again. The entire staff and car valets are warm and friendly. We love it here.

Excellent service from all staff. Decor of hotel very dated but beautiful. However facilities of our room definitely need updating. Shower very inadequate. Also expecting guests to use paper cups ? Feel hotel resting on past reputation. Enjoyed our stay. But wouldn’t rate this a 5 star hotel

This hotel is divine. The sheets are sumptuous, the warm towels huge, the bathbub luxurious. The terrace overlooking the ocean is sublime. Wonderful service. The breakfast; in the Lord Byron restaurant is fabulous. Eggs any way you want them.
