Grand Hotel Bristol Resort & SPA

I cannot rave enough about our experience at the Bristol in Rapallo! We took a trip to relax away from the craziness, and we are so pleased that we found this place. The hotel was immaculate, the service was 5 star, and the concierge helped us daily. The spa is amazing! The breakfast was the best ever. We filled up daily at breakfast and it carried us through to a late dinner. From foccia and cappucino, to yogurt and berries, smoked salmon AND Swordfish (don't knock it til you try it), and amazing pastries, this was a daily meal for us. The city of Rapallo is absolutely our new favorite place. Strolling, shopping, gondola to the top of a mountain, and the food was amazing. Also, the access to Camolgi was awesome. You should take the ferry around once to see the coast from the water, and then get on the train to come back. The ferry is about a 30-45 trip and the train is 2 stops (maybe 7 minutes) because it tunnels though the mountain. Relaxing at the spa was an incredible experience too. All services were amazing and the facility was so nice. Melted choclate (not hot chocolate, actually melted chocolate to bring up the blood sugar while cleansing in the spa was an amazing touch. Can't wait to come back and see you.

Super hotel. Above all expectations!! We stayed as a retired couple at the hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is very warm and luxurious. The welcome was very warm and the reception staff was very kind, patient and welcoming. The concierge team is also professional and patient. We we received very helpful advice about tours and events in the area. The breakfast is fantastic. Large swimming pool with a stunning view of the Gulf of Raffaello-Portofino. The location is not in the town center but there is a shuttle service to the train station, an excellent service free of charge and available at all times. The room is spacious and beautiful. The rooftop restaurant is very expensive but the food is at the level of a Michelin restaurant. Worth every cent!! In short - we had accommodation above and beyond expectations

So far the price of a suite in a luxury hotel is falling very short on expectations especially for the price. Tub won’t drain after 2 attempts, safe doesn’t work, and while there are some great things, these two really knocks down the expensive experience you would expect

We stayed in this hotel just for two nights during our trip and it was the best experience even though weather was not perfect. All staff in this hotel provided outstanding service and we have only good thing to say about front desk, restaurant staff, shuttle drivers, housekeepers and others. Breakfast was perfect, it was very helpful to have shuttle that arrived very quick when we call for it. We used Rapallo as base to see nearby towns and it work. We glad we stay there and can recommend everybody who want to stay away from busy cities.
