Extraordinary experience!

We’ve never experienced such exceptional hospitality before. From the stunning architecture and beautifully maintained greenery to the fast, spacious elevators and expansive hotel grounds, everything about our stay was impressive. The rooms are modern and well-designed, and we especially appreciated the constant availability of complimentary water and other beverages - on rooms, beaches and even cars and buses. The dining options were excellent, with a wide variety of food and drinks available, and the flexible hours for breakfast, lunch, and dinner made everything even more convenient. The entire hotel is impeccably clean, feels very safe, and the staff truly stand out — incredibly friendly and hardworking. (Special thanks to Moses, Juni and all the chefs, cleaning service and drivers as well!) The only minor downside was the nearby construction of other hotels and coastal development (February 2025), but this didn’t significantly impact our overall experience. Thank you for this unforgettable experience — we truly felt welcomed and cared for throughout our stay!

Currently staying at the intercontinental in Ras Al Khaimah. I will write another review when I’m home but I don’t won’t to forget this be particular pool boy. His name is Emmanuel he is so kind, helpful and thoughtful and looks after us so well. If he sees you try to take umbrella up or down he’s there to do it for you if you want to move your bed around he’s there to do it if he thinks you need water he’s there with it, if you need a towel he’s there all before you need to ask. In my words he’s amazing and next time I visit I’d love to see him on man reception welcoming guests and seeing off departing guests. I cannot speak more highly of him and think he’s a real asset to the hotel. Like I said I will do another review when I’m back in Uk but I can’t fault anyone who works at the hotel from front desk to cleaners, gardeners, waiters, chefs there all so lovely. But t Emmanuel is exceptional as as the majority of my holiday is spent at the pool he’s getting this review from me as credit where credit is due ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Extremely Disappointed, Poorly Managed & Unworthy of InterContinental Standards.

We stayed at InterContinental Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa, Ras Al Khaimah from 6th to 9th July, booking 3 rooms for our family, expecting a relaxing and premium experience. Unfortunately, our entire stay was filled with one disappointment after another, far from what a reputed brand like InterContinental should have delivered. From the start, service was subpar. The front desk, especially a team member named Shahbaz, was unprofessional, arrogant, and shockingly unaware of how to treat guests. His dismissive attitude and poor behavior left a lasting negative impression. At the pool and beach areas, staffing was clearly inadequate. The food service was pathetic and every time we waited 45 to 50 minutes for basic food orders, which used to arrive cold every time because delay in serving. This didn’t happen once, but all three days of our stay. There was no urgency, no follow-up, and absolutely no sense of hospitality from the F&B team in those areas. To make matters worse, we were exposed to a serious safety issue: pest control fumigation was carried out inside guest corridors without any prior notice. We were walking through heavy smoke with our children, completely unaware. No communication, no warning signs, and no staff was present, an absolutely unacceptable health risk in any hotel. As IHG members and frequent hotel guests, we felt let down, disrespected, and unsafe. The lack of service quality, poor staff behavior, and dangerous lapses in basic safety left us completely unpleasant. We sincerely hope InterContinental management takes these concerns seriously. A thorough internal review and urgent improvements are needed in staff training, safety protocols, and guest service standards. Until then, we will not be returning.
