InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa

The hotel is beautiful and has many good things, from restaurants to views, but the room had a lot of dust on the table and shelves, and the bathroom smelled terrible throughout the room. There was also rat droppings or something similar.

We had great experience at kid's club planet trekkers the staff is very friendly Melanie,Nishadi,Shankar and Bella They are very approachable to the kids Kind and helpfull❤️

Received a reasonable rate with room and lounge access. The lounge offers a great breakfast with a large carte options, tea time snacks and a great happy hour with canapés which change every day. Great service and atmosphere. This was my third time in this resort.

This was our second time at the Intercontinental RAK. The previous time we were there in May 2024 and we had club rooms and the service was much better in the lounge. However our recent trip arriving 2 days before Christmas for 7 days, we were disappointed in the service in the club lounge. We felt very sorry for the staff as there was very few people to cater for the number of guests in the lounge. Breakfast orders were confused and we often ate different times to each other, as we never knew when we would be receiving the food from the à la carte menu. Please change your menu to reflect what we can order as its very confusing offering sides (baked beans, mushrooms, etc ) in writing but then told we can get those from the buffet. When we did use the buffet there were times food wasn't stocked and so once again eating at different times to each other. There is a lack of training that is needed in basic hospitality. We would often be asked several times if we had been served. IHG need to give the staff equipment to take the order to feed back to the kitchen so that its not scribbled and misunderstood. Once again staff training to support the staff who were polite and apologetic in particular Gerilyn and Nana. The only guy on point was Abdul (tall slim fellow) super polite, efficient and a credit to the hospitality team. The first few days we thought maybe teething problems however no two days were the same and we were having our coffee and hot foods at different times which is not conducive to a relaxing time away. We were not sure if this is a management decision however there was nobody supervising the staff/Maitre'd, and we were not the only guests who were experiencing problems such as a lack of spoons or no spoons with tea cup ( first world problems) or having to wait on average 20minutes for our beverages or on occasion no knife and forks on the table with napkins. We want to send a big shout out to Deepak who cleaned our room and it was spotless so thank you very much to Deepak.

Loving my stay at RAK IHG. Ordered coffee but did not drink it in time. Instead of reheating, the staff were kind enough to make new drinks free of charge. Special thanks to Rajendar from in room dining for his after hours service!
