About the Hotel
Sat on a limestone throne at the peaceful pinnacle of Ravello, Belmond Hotel Caruso gazes out over the Tyrrhenian Sea. The hotel was originally built in the 11th century by a wealthy family, shipwrecked on their journey to Constantinople. It was once called Palazzo d’Afflitto—the Palace of the Afflicted. Inside, our 50 rooms have been lovingly restored to their ancient Neapolitan glory. Expect hand-crafted terracotta floors and Naples-yellow walls adorned with neo-classical antiques. Fresh flowers and stunning coastline vistas complete the experience.

30th Anniversary Trip
This was our third stay, and it somehow keeps getting better every time. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and were welcomed so warmly—it truly felt special from the moment we arrived. The team goes above and beyond, creating an experience that feels both personal and effortless. Our suite was incredible, and every detail of our stay exceeded expectations. Even in the hours before our departure, when we were quietly dealing with the loss of our beloved dog, the kindness and care around us meant more than we could fully express. This place and the people here hold such a special place in our hearts—we can’t wait to return.

Top of world Romantic Getaway with Unforgettable Views
This is a very special romantic getaway gem on the Amalfi coast. The service from the staff is anthentic and super friendly. Great views from our room, the pool, the restaurants, and the moment you arrive. A true slice of heaven on the most beautiful coastline in Italy. The quality of the food at the restaurants was top quality and the chef greeted us personally at our anniversary dinner. Very nice!!

This is a lovely property with superlative service and the room options are fantastic. From start to finish, I was treated like royalty - the experience will stay with me. Morning breakfast is incredible, so much variety and quality of options. And the infinity pool is not to be missed - best pool views on the Amalfi Coast!

Heaven on Earth
This hotel will always be very special to me. It’s heaven on earth. The views are magnificent. I love breakfast and the pool restaurant. Our room was very spacious and we loved it. It’s literally perfection.
