Redondo Beach Staycation
REALLY wonderful place to stay! The rooms were lovely, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. If I ever decide to go back to the LA area, I will be returning!

Express Rally Vacation Trip

An absolute "must return to" spot
In town for a wedding and was recommended by bride and groom to stay on site and the Portofino, and I'm so glad I did! Everything was fantastic - from location, to food, to amenities. What really brought it over the top was the staff - everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, always greeting me when coming and going. Samantha and Paul at the front desk were unbelievably kind and accommodating - they made me feel right at home! I can't wait to come back :-)

Absolutely Amazing!
We celebrated our anniversary last weekend and had an amazing time! The hotel was lovely and had many amenities. Unlimited paddle board/kayak access, a nice restaurant, “24/7” access open pours, complimentary 1-2 hour bike rentals, and within walking distance of the beach and the pier. What really made our anniversary special was the staff. From the moment we walked out of the car until the moment we checked out, everyone was great. Samantha (receptionist), Shah, and Mac (valets) really took the time and made our weekend special by really connecting with us more on a personal level and helping us with whatever we needed. They went above and beyond hotel hospitality and it made everything so much more special. Thank you so much!

Overpriced and worn
I think this hotel has seen better days. The front desk staff was lovely but the place is over priced for the facilities. The rooms are worn and need a coat of paint. The general appearance is worn. We stayed on the first floor and the smell of marijuana from other guests was overpowering. I would not stay again unless they did a significant remodel.
