The coziness of an inn, the amenities of a hotel

Very lovely off-season stay. Cold and rainy outside, warm fire inside. Staff and other clients were very friendly. Will return.

Great location & awesome room

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Conveniently located lodging. I stayed in one of the "outer" cabin type rooms and it was excellent. Nice and homey, with a very comfortable bed and nice size bathroom. I felt the value was good for the room I had. Room was very clean and there was very little noise, except for when street construction started, but the Bellmoor of course, had no say in that matter. Service was fantastic and they were nice enough to let me know when my room was available so I could check in. I had driven in from DC and was therefore early for check-in. It was too late in the season for pool use, but that was fine by me. They have a Great breakfast set up with a wonderful made to order omelet option that was Fantastic. I arrived early both mornings so was able to sit outside. I'd definitely stay there again, if I get back to the area. Location is very convenient for boardwalk shopping and eateries. Sunrise at the beach was off the hook.

Disappointment becoming too frequent

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

The rooms are always great, clean and spotless. The breakfast experience keeps getting worse with each stay. Breakfast goes until 10:30, we got there around 10:00, had to wait almost 25 minutes for omelets, the staff already started breaking things down around 10:15-10:20. By the time we got our omelets most of the sides were gone. Staff more worried about getting their breakfast at 10:30 than serving paying guests. Had a $50 credit we were going to use Saturday afternoon while listening to the live jazz, but bar wasn't open. Were told it would open at 2:00 and it didn't. Then was told by another person maybe by 4:00 since there was no bartender. The breakfast and bar experience are becoming too much of a disappointment, will start to look for other places to stay.

Wonderful stay

We stayed here for two nights on our first trip to Rehoboth Beach and had a lovely stay. The classic Hotel has a nice lobby with rooms with fireplaces to hang out, read and put puzzles together. The room was large and spacious with everything we could want. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet. They have a great complimentary breakfast as well as a bar with food at night as well. It’s about two blocks from the beach but it was a nice walk through all the shops to the beach and boardwalk. They will also shuttle you down in a golf cart if you don’t feel like walking. Although not Ocean front, we enjoyed the quiet of being off to itself.

Lovely, relaxing few days in a beautiful hotel with a great location.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

We had a wonderful time staying at the Bellmoor for a few days in October. The atmosphere is beautiful with a gorgeous library with a fireplace which is a lovely place to have your morning coffee or an after-dinner drink. The rooms are spotless and comfortable & the included breakfast is very good(get a made to order omelet & weather permitting, eat outside in the beautiful garden). I've had some very good massages in their spa and it's only a block away from some of the best restaurants in Rehoboth: try Salt Air, Henlopen Oyster House or the Blue Hen, all excellent. I'd advise you go off season as the prices have gotten very high in the summer but very reasonable during the spring and fall & the weather is still very nice.
