Don’t even bother. Get thee straight to Atlantis. Came here for a trip with my mom, and they put us in a 1980’s smoking room in the North Tower with stained carpets, bad lighting and a creaky shower. For the same price, we got a beautiful new room at the Atlantis with 1000% better service and ambiance. Do not stay at the Peppermill if you can get a room at the Atlantis.

We usually love the Peppermill so we planned our anniversary weekend here. The week before our trip, I tried calling the spa to purchase a gift for my husband many, many times. They never answer the phones! I left multiple messages for a callback - never happened, called the front desk and they couldn't get through. The day we arrived, I waited at the entry for the spa to open and met the Spa Director. She was quite nice and "would look into it". Never heard from her either. Sadly, they had no openings and we went to the Atlantis where we spent almost $1000 on a couples package. Never again will I give Peppermill Spa my business.

Stayed 3 nights for a business conference in September in a single King room. The room was clean, bed super comfortable with several pillows to choose from, a closet for hanging clothes, plenty of drawers for storage, and a nice large bench to keep my belongings organized. The bathroom was a nice size with plenty of towels, a blow dryer and a shower that had the best water pressure!! The room is equipped with an alarm clock, plenty of charging capabilities and a mini fridge. There are plenty of elevators that move quickly - never a wait. We ate at Milano and Biscotti where menu options were plentiful, food was tasty and waitstaff were great - friendly and attentive. We were up very early each morning and never without coffee/tea/breakfast - the Espresso bar near the lobby is open 24 hours with so many delicious items to choose from, including beautiful pastries, quiche and fresh fruit. The airport shuttles run promptly on a schedule, and shuttles ran constantly to and from the convention center for the business conference. Very convenient! I had one issue upon check in where the bathroom sink stopper was stuck and therefore water would not drain; upon reporting the issue, maintenance was at my door within 10 minutes (maybe less) and fixed it quickly. Weather was spectacular - in the low 80s with 16% humidity! Glorious!

My Husband and I stopped for the night in Reno on our way home from a trip to Yosemite. It had been years since I had been in Reno. We drove down through the old strip, and I was dismayed at the decline of some of the old casinos and hotels. But our approach to the Peppermill was refreshing. Large, and bright and colorful, I felt my mood uplifted. Inside, the Peppermill is expansive and lots of people. I had checked in online the night before and that was really nice. The front desk texted me when our room was ready. We stayed in the North Tower. Our room was a big room with a huge king size bed. Quality furnishings throughout, including the massive bathroom. Lots of towels! I love lots of towels! Clean and quality throughout. We had a lovely dinner, and a fun time in the Casino. Afterwards, we had a goodnight's sleep. It was quiet, and dark. Just what we needed.

We frequent the Peppermill HL room on a weekly basis usually dumping tens of thousands of dollars. In return they send us a laughable amount of freeplay. Like 50 bucks a week. Thats what you offer someone playing 80 cents a spin not $50/ spin like we do. We will be taking our high limit action to Vegas or another Reno property going forward. We don’t mind losing as much as we mind being insulted by pathetic promotions all while they hand out 5 grand in free play to low level YouTubers who don’t even promote the property.
