I planned a trip to Viriginia for my husband and myself. It included visiting Richmond. I selected The Jefferson Hotel based on reviews. What I did not expect was the convenience of location, the outstanding staff, the gorgeous and well appointed room and gorgeous interior rooms. We selected the bed and breakfast package which included breakfast and free self parking. Self parking is easy as it is just across the street from the hotel. This was a splurge for us but so worth it!! I definitely would stay here again. In fact, we stayed at the Williamsburg Inn, Williamsburg, after staying here and paid more to stay there. It did not compare to this hotel.

The Jefferson was an amazing experience from the friendly and knowledgeable staff to the wonderful food in the restaurant. The rooms were very clean and elegantly appointed, and the amenities such as transportation and a full gym and spa were great. I look forward to visiting and staying again in the future!

The Jefferson is a beautiful, unique hotel in downtown Richmond. The room was lovely and the hotel staff was top notch. We arrived late, had a late dinner in the hotel (which was very good), then had a drink at the bar. Unfortunately, the bar closed at 11pm, which seemed a bit early - this was disappointing. Otherwise, a great visit.

Highly recommend. Great place for a quick lunch / drink and to admire the beautiful interior decor of the hotel. It is so full of history.

Exceptional public spaces. High quality, clean, spacious room. Excellent, consistently solid, positive service. Bellman Max was especially helpful with concierge-level suggestions. Cost seemed reasonable for the area. Highly recommend.
