Poor staff behaviour
Staff are not attentive. Some staff don’t handle customers well and appear rude. Two who were good are Murilho in restaurant and Daniel on reception. Otherwise really needs to improve

Fun stay in Rio
We liked this hotel and the view of the beach was unrivalled. The roof top pool overlooking the beach was also really special: for us it lacked a little personal touch, but still we would return if back in Rio.

Great choice in Rio!
Facilities and location were top notch but it’s always the people that make the difference. Shout outs to Jesus for always being so helpful and always sharing that great big smile, Maurice for being so resourceful and helpful and Murilo for helping us start every morning with a great breakfast and lots of great suggestions! Definitely recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff!
We had the best time here on our honeymoon! The facilities are beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Thiago Ceuto in the Fairmont Gold lounge was exceptional--extremely friendly, always had a smile, was a joy to speak to, always quick to get us whatever we needed and was the cherry on top of a fantastic stay.
