An excellent stay from beginning to end. Check-in was smooth and the front desk team was welcoming and efficient. The room was modern, spacious, and offered a stunning ocean view. Housekeeping maintained everything perfectly throughout our stay. Breakfast was high quality, with great variety and attentive service. Staff were consistently professional The beachfront location is unbeatable. Would absolutely stay here again.

Our breakfast experience at the Fairmont Hotel was truly outstanding. A special thank you to Murilo, whose professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness made each morning a pleasure. His thoughtful recommendations regarding food and beverages, as well as his helpful advice about the surrounding area, reflected both expertise and genuine care. He is a true hospitality professional who significantly enhances the guest experience. At the bar, Pedro was equally impressive. His knowledge of beverages and his refined approach to service were exceptional. He delivers a confident, polished, and highly professional experience. Both Murilo and Pedro have calm, kind personalities that create a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere. They are wonderful ambassadors of the hotel. The lady at the tapioca station also deserves recognition for her kindness and friendly presence, which added a lovely personal touch to breakfast. There are, however, a few areas where improvement would be appreciated. Room service could benefit from greater attention to detail, such as ensuring that shower gel is replenished and that towels are consistently provided. The rooms tend to feel quite humid, and stronger air conditioning, along with improved bathroom ventilation, would enhance overall comfort. At the pool bar, additional training in service standards would be valuable. Greater attention to table cleanliness before seating guests, as well as proactively providing napkins, would elevate the experience and align it with the otherwise high standards of the hotel. Finally, the gentlemen at the entrance were consistently gracious and welcoming, creating a very positive first and last impression. Overall, the service from several outstanding team members truly stood out and made the stay memorable.

We stayed for Carnival and although a beautiful hotel be very careful about providing a credit card at check in. I had prepaid for our stay through my travel agent many weeks before arrival - My credit card was asked for at check in reception for incidental charges - A day after we had checked out of the hotel they charged a further two thousand pounds to my Am/Ex without any authorisation from me. I sent a number of emails to the hotel titled URGENT but no reply. This caused us unnecessary stress while on holiday. Although we travel extensively I will be very reluctant to ever book The Fairmont again. I really hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. Nicholas Goodman.

We booked a stay from January 25 to 31, 2026. On January 29, We promptly informed the front desk that we would be leaving the hotel a day earlier than planned, January 31 instead of February 1. Despite the receptionist reassuring us that there would be no problems, after we had settled the bill at home, our credit card was charged for the night we didn't use, approximately €460.00. Despite numerous emails requesting a refund, they continued to say they were available, but failed to resolve the issue. As of today, we still haven't received anything, and we feel truly cheated. They didn't behave properly!!!!!
