I am writing a review because I am frustrated with the communication from the resort. I have booked an upcoming trip and was super excited but I need to make a change in the reservation and I cannot get help! This makes me concerned about the level of care I’ll receive once there. Do you just ignore your guests??? I can write the names of the persons who messaged then STOPPED when it came time to give me details but I won’t. I just need your help in ensuring this trip is a success!!!!

Excellent hotel let down.by a few little niggles..on the plus side..Excellent friendly efficient staff. Great location..wonderful clean and comfortable rooms with impressive daily cleaning. The niggles were small and easily avoidable. Even though i was having same nespresso pods daily they kept replacing them with decaff capsules so i would have to go and have them change them daily..also the lights in the room were not working correctly so at night they were emitting a small glow. I reported it 4 times over 2 days but it was never fixed. In the end i just unscrewed the light bulbs myself every evening. I would have preferred to give it a 5 * rating which it does deserve

I arrive on Monday late evening. I booked through Agoda. I have written to the hotel 4 times over the last week to confirm they have my booking. They haven't responded to any emails. This has made me feel very anxious and stressed.

The hotel is well-located, on Copacabana and close to Ipanema Beach. After some persuasion, we were given a room that met our needs. Excellent service and a delicious breakfast!
