Great Location, But . . .
The rooms are too small, too tight for two people and almost claustrophobic for one. The elevators (2) are small as well. The quality and appearance of the room is less than what’s portrayed in the photos. The in room amenities are extremely limited. Storage space is extremely limited. The staff was suburb. The roof top bar and restaurant was excellent, with picturesque views. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Very good location. This is property is a part of the Tapestry collection and is somewhat below what you would expect at a Hilton property.

Over hyped- ordinary, nothing special
Good location and nice, friendly staff. Great views from the roof- top bar. Breakfast buffet was fine. The ‘executive’ room we were given was so small you couldn’t swing a cat in it. Walking round the bed to use the bathroom meant manoeuvring round the huge TV screen and the stand to which it was attached to avoid bumping your head and tripping over the stand. The rooms have hardly any lighting so are really dark; the ‘executive’ room had no tea/coffee making machine, there was only one hand towel, only one bedside table (it was a double room) and only 1 chair, despite 2 people sharing it. Calling it an ‘executive’ room is completely mis-leading.

Fabulous
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent and very close to transport options and Botafogo Mall. It is away from the cramped area around Copacabana and is located by a beautiful bay that opens up to Sugarloaf Mountain. We has the most stunning view from our room of the mountain. The room was large and very clean. The views from the roof top bar were incredible, one side Sugarloaf Mountain and the other Christ the Redeemer. Most of the staff were very good but xxxx was exceptional. She is an absolute asset to this hotel and helped in great part to make our stay very memorable. We stayed at a hotel on Copacabana but much preferred this hotel in Botafogo. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing experience
Amazing hotel, well located in front of Botafogo beach, with amazing views from all sides. The bar in the rooftop is a lovely place for a dinner or drinks, especially if Everton or Junior are there, they are lovely guys, open to help always. I can’t wait to go back.
