Ivan was an amazing server anytime I needed anything he was ready and willing to help. Service was 5 stars!!! Definitely recommend visiting the rooftop!!

We stayed ten nights. This is a nice hotel and we recommend it. Location and view are great. Service is mostly very good. It’s a fun hotel. Lovely and varied breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff at reception and the restaurant. Clean and comfortable. Easy to get public transport by the hotel. A few things could be better. - We were disappointed by the rooftop bar. For sure the view there is excellent. The service can be friendly, but not always. They were very rude when we asked for two glasses of wine for a welcome drink. Wine isn’t included - very odd! But they told us this in a dismissive way. Rude. The music in the bar is usually loud and not to everyone’s taste! Why have it at all except to suit the staff? The food is expensive. We never saw this bar busy. Not surprising - because it’s ok but not great. - There were some small errors with housekeeping, like not replacing shampoo. Small things, but needed chasing.

I visited the rooftop for my welcome drink. Junior became my server a couple of times on my first night at the hotel. He was very attentive, extremely nice, and patient with my "improving" Portuguese. Then, I was able to enjoy the beautiful panoramic views that reception raved about. She (Larissa) was right. A person can see from Sugarloaf to Christ the Redeemer and everything in between. The hotel room was nice. It could use more shelf or flat surface space for storage and/or work space. I love the tall windows that provide an overlook onto the busy roadways below. The bed and bedding was comfortable. Providing the best sleep I had during my 10 day visit to Brazil. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at the hotel. I'd return for a longer stay to contrast the beachbum life and experience the business and city life.

We really enjoyed our stay. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are well soundproofed so we slept really well. The views from the hotel are stunning - you can see Christ the Redeemer statue from the bedroom window. The food is very nice - breakfast and in the roof bar. The service was great - a special mention for Ivan who served us. We would definitely recommend.
