While the property and view were beautiful, I was not aware that the property is shared with the Wyndham vacation club, Margaritaville. The staff did the best they could but the resort was at capacity leading to long waits for coffee in morning (20 minute lines), meals, pool and beach chair/ towel scarcity and crowded spaces. The fitness center needs a significant overhaul with more space, better ventilation and upgraded equipment. Our flight was quite delayed and we didn’t get to check in until close to 10pm leaving us with the last room within our category (Rainforest view). The room itself was a basic 2 queen bed standard room predominantly facing a parking lot and maintenance area. I get that it was a holiday week but this room was exceedingly overpriced for what it was ($1200 a night!). When I tried to escalate the issue suggesting we should not be paying the same rate as those with a true rainforest view, I was offered an insulting $50 /per night credit. The demand of both regular Wyndham hotel guests and Margaritaville guests on resort amenities far exceeded supply. It may be better on non- holiday weeks but would recommend avoiding Christmas week, February break, Spring break when most school children are off. On a positive note, restaurant staff was pleasant, cocktails and the food were good (yet quite expensive).

Elit was super nice and helpful at the beach. He kept asking if we needed anything and made our time on the trip very enjoyable.

The resort is beautiful. Elit helped me so kindly and quickly at the beach with chairs and umbrella. All of the staff has been helpful and friendly.

The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience. Our children loved feeding the iguanas with Jusue and Shelley Ann, and Gustavo and Juan were incredibly helpful at the daily breakfast buffet. A huge thanks to Lysbeth at the front desk and Bianca for the xplorers club activities! We loved the family-friendly pools and easy walking access to the beach. Already missing the beautiful sights of palm trees and blue water!
