Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Rainforest Beach & Golf Resort

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The beachside and pool area were highlights—clean, fun, and perfect for relaxing or spending time with family. The overall atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it easy to unwind. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and high-quality options each morning. We also had a fantastic experience at the Root Restaurant. The service was outstanding, especially thanks to Joanne and Alejandro Voildes , who truly made our dining experience memorable. Overall, a great stay—we would definitely return.

Great location, relaxed atmosphere, we stayed in one the upgraded room, beautiful and spacious, property is well maintained! Breakfast at roots coastal kitchen was amazing and Juan Pablo was incredibly attentive and helpful!

We spent 1 night here, got in at about 10pm. Car valet $25, good customer service. Very classy building and room, no microwave. We went to the bar & ordered a pina colada, it was NOT good at all ( D-) the glass was full of ice, not worth "any" price, Food is expensive here. DJ Music by bar was too loud & annoying imo. Our room was dusty w /MANY spots dirty. A sm shard of glass/plastic was on the bathroom floor & pieces of "cheetos" were on the floor, by work desk too. I complained at the front desk, got no apologies. Beach is right there but not really safe for swimming.

Juan Pablo was amazing! Delicious breakfast, so warm and welcoming. Will be back! Recommend sitting outside at sunrise.

Terrible service. I left the room before 8am and came back at 7pm and the room still was not done. I called and the front desk did not have an answer as to whether it would be clean that day. I asked to speak to the manager who was rude, did not have a solution and when I asked him what would he do if he was the guest, he responded that he would have compassion for the hotel. We are paying over $500 a night. Never again.
