Amrit Ocean Resort & Spa

I’m here right now. The service is atrocious. I’ve heard nothing but guests complaining. Yesterday we waited a hour for lunch. When I checked in with the waitress, she said nonchalantly, sorry we are really busy. It was 230 and only two other tables were taken. This morning, we were in a line with 4 other families for breakfast. We all ended up leaving after 30 minutes with not even a greeting. One couple walked out and told us they waited 2 hours for breakfast and the order was wrong. I had to order Uber Eats from a local bagel shop for my kids who were very hungry for breakfast. This hotel is not in a town or place where you can walk to restaurants. There’s also no store to buy toiletries or snacks. You are completely dependent on the restaurants here. We are now at the pool. Towels are empty, water is empty. The people next to us waited 65 minutes for their lunch. We are 30 min and counting for our lunch and drinks. The room is freezing and our thermostat doesn’t work. Half our outlets don’t work. I truly don’t know how this is a 5 star resort that is costing me over $1000 a night. I’m so disappointed. The high note was my massage. It was excellent. There are so many hotels in this area- do not stay here. It’s actually uncomfortable to order because you feel like you are asking for a favor and begging for food and drinks. Not how you want to feel on vacation.

We are staying at the Amrit residences for the month of January and the experience has been great. We pulled into the valet on our first day and was greeted by Shirley who was smiling and very welcoming and has been every day since. The front desk staff is great and very pleasant making us feel right at home. I can’t say enough about the gym equipment (brand new and all Matrix brand) and classes. Miguel is very friendly and accommodating and my husband and son love his classes. Gail, Shideh and Linnea are amazing yoga, stretch and sound bowl instructors and the classes are just perfect for the type of wellness I’m looking for in a studio. All the props are brand new and the views are beautiful. The beach staff is great and it’s a gorgeous beach!!!

What great time our family had staying for 3 nights at the hotel. Starting with the check in front desk Claudia was so kind and helpful. To the lunch we had a Tula that was fantastic and the service was outstanding to the beautiful room they were staying in what beautiful ocean view. Our family enjoyed the pool and the beach made Sand Castles and the weather was amazing. All of this would not have been achieved with out the help of Amanda Shimhue who was so detailed in arranging all for us. It made for a great Christmas Holiday for our family. Thank you so much all.

I stayed at Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences and ended up renting one of their condos- and honestly, I almost never felt the need to leave the resort because it’s that good. The pools, beach service, and ocean views are beautiful, and the whole place has a really nice energy- luxury without feeling stiff or pretentious. It somehow feels both elevated and welcoming at the same time. The staff is a huge part of that… truly a 10/10. They are some of the friendliest, most attentive people, and you really feel taken care of here in a very real way. The spa is next level with incredible technology (including a robot massage, which is FASCINATING), and having four onsite restaurants makes it so easy to settle in and just enjoy your stay. The pools, beach service, and ocean views are beautiful and never get old. What surprised me most is that this place feels like more than a hotel- it actually feels like a community. They host events all the time, and we just had 12 Days of Christmas events that were so thoughtfully done. It’s one of those rare places where you’re bound to make new friends and feel just as comfortable enjoying your own solitude… whatever you’re in the mood for that day. If you love being taken care of and want a place that feels both luxurious and genuinely warm, this place is really special. I can’t recommend it enough.

I got a haircut from Kimber Mannino and it was truly excellent. She is a miracle worker. If you are in the area I highly highly recommend her.
