Spa is amazing, hotel rooms not so much
We came here for the 2nd time to give the hotel another chance over Labor Day weekend. The good? Do not miss a stop at Taaza, the outside bar on the 1st floor. Great food and great service. My favorite dining experience at the hotel. The spa is the largest in Florida and really is amazing. HIGHLY recommend getting a touchless service here (hyperbaric chamber, PEMF mat, red light therapy and more). The spa is huge so you never feel crowded anywhere. There is a small pool in the ladies lounge in the outside area which has a few lounge chairs, and there's plenty of lounge chairs in the spa pool area as well. So even if it is packed, you can still find a quiet corner to relax. The hotel also offers free classes at the gym. Yoga instructor (Shadi) was great and Zach does an amazing sound bath meditation. The bad? The hotel needs some work. Last time we were here there was a plumbing issue (which has since been fixed), this time our TV had a mind of its own and turned on by itself 2x during the night. Also, and this is unexplainable, there were 2 side by side mirrors in the bathroom - different heights and different lengths. Almost as if one was a substitute until a new pair could be ordered. The hotel did offer us some compensation both times and did send an engineer to fix the remote/TV but these issues shouldn't happen. I am giving the hotel 4 stars because I absolutely love the spa but don't love the hotel rooms. I think, since I live locally and only about an hour away, that I may be returning to the spa but not staying here.

Bachelorette Wellness Retreat
We stayed at the Amrit for a wellness bachelorette retreat. The hotel is stunning, the spa accommodations were immaculate and the spa staff was top notch. We had a few hiccups operationally with our stay which was surprising with the amount of planning we had prior to this stay, however the hotel staff helped us and cleared everything up. I look forward to coming back for another stay after the wedding! The food was incredible as well! Curl, in the spa was our highlight. We all had services with her and she was just a delight! I hope to see her when I come back. Highly recommend the Amrit 🤍
