Belmond Maroma Resort & Spa

This was my second visit to the Belmond Maroma Riviera Maya. On my first stay I was traveling with my husband, and we enjoyed it so much that I wanted to return with friends. Our first visit was within a year of major renovations at this property, when you might expect everything to be fresh and the staff to be extra well trained. I can affirm that a full year later, the quality of this hotel and the level of service remains exceptional. The setting is stunning, the rooms are well designed and very well maintained, and the staff provides just the right level of service - a personalized touch without it feeling overbearing. The amenities offered mean a fun surprise is never more than an hour away. And this proved a great location for an easy and relaxing friends getaway. Even with a wedding and related events on the property during our visit, nothing was ever fully closed or crowded, and the soundproofing of the rooms is exceptional. Absolutely recommend this property based on my experience and certainly plan to return.

The facilities are beautiful and perfectly maintained. The staff is great. They are friendly and accommodating It’s simply wonderful.

We had an incredibly beautiful, relaxing, and interesting Easter holiday and truly enjoyed every moment. What stood out in particular was the absolutely perfect and exceptionally friendly service. Every single member of the team was attentive, courteous, and genuinely committed to making our stay as perfect as possible. A special mention goes to Renata the General Manager, who were constantly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. The entire service, from the pool team to the hotel’s guest experience calendar, truly elevated and optimized our stay. I honestly believe I have never stayed at a hotel, despite having visited many around the world, with such genuinely warm, friendly, and dedicated staff. Also the place is simply magical, beautifully tropical and truly special.

Fabulous resort - manicured gardens, well-appointed rooms, wonderful staff throughout, delicious food at all restaurants and simply the best resort in all of the Mayan Riviera. Well worth a visit.
