We chose The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh for our honeymoon after getting married, and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful and heart-warming experiences of our lives. We would especially like to express our deepest gratitude to Butler Kim, whose service was truly exceptional. Kim went above and beyond her role — she kindly and proactively helped my husband and me take stunning wedding-style photos, creating memories we will treasure forever. Her thoughtfulness, warmth, and genuine care made us feel incredibly special. We are also very thankful to Butler Hani for his attentive and professional service throughout our stay. In addition, the café on the ground floor kindly prepared elegant cocktails for us, which made our photo moments even more magical and visually beautiful. Every detail was handled with such grace and generosity. As newlyweds traveling all the way from Taiwan, we truly felt the warmth, kindness, and hospitality of The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh. Above and Beyond Service by Butler Kim and Butler Hani – A Truly Memorable Experience

We stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh previously in October and were more than impressed. It was a truly wonderful stay in every respect, which is why our expectations for our return visit in December were naturally very high. Unfortunately, this second stay was deeply disappointing. We are Marriott Bonvoy status guests, but this was hardly recognized at all. From the moment of arrival, the warmth and personal welcome we had experienced during our first stay was noticeably missing. Last time, the service was outstanding and very attentive, especially towards our daughter. We had even been in contact with the butler from our October stay, who had done an excellent job back then. Sadly, this time we did not encounter her, nor did we experience a comparable level of care. During our previous stay, many thoughtful surprises had been arranged for our daughter – cakes, chocolates, and small personal touches – some of which were also announced in advance for this visit. However, none of these were provided. There was no welcome greeting, no amenities, and no sign on arrival that our stay had even been acknowledged. Unfortunately, the room and bathroom we were assigned were also not particularly clean. In addition, we were traveling as a group of five and had arranged two hotel transfers from the airport to the hotel in advance. Upon arrival, however, only one vehicle was waiting, which resulted in a considerable delay and a long wait for the second car. This was inconvenient and not in line with the level of service we would expect from a hotel of this caliber. Overall, this stay felt very impersonal and fell far short of the exceptional experience we had just two months earlier. It is truly disappointing that two stays at the same hotel, within such a short time frame, could differ so drastically in quality.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is basically a palace - absolutely stunning in both its grandeur and attention to detail. The room was spacious, luxurious, and quiet. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, and the housekeeping team did an outstanding job, cleaning the room twice daily. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the four large bottles of water provided each day. Breakfast was great: The spread was extensive and catered to every taste, offering a variety of fresh options that were both delicious and beautifully presented. Although dinner was included with my stay, I didn’t have the time to enjoy it. Truly a special place, and I would absolutely love to stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

My sincere appreciation goes to the following staff who made a remarkable impact during our stay: • Mr. Abdulaziz, who ensured a smooth check-in process and gladly granted our request for a late check-out. He was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. • Mr. Dennis, our designated butler, who remembered us from our previous stay. He truly impressed us with a thoughtful surprise in our room and was always ready to assist with anything we needed. He was very friendly, approachable, and treated us with the utmost care. • Ms. Leen from Concierge, who kindly assisted with Arabic translation without hesitation. She even offered her personal number in case we needed further help after leaving the hotel premises. This level of hospitality is truly exemplary. It is one of the best services I have ever experienced.
