I stayed with my family at this hotel in one of their Suite rooms. First of the all the hotel is at the best location in Rome right across the Spanish Steps which is a beauty. Trevi Fountain, Piazza Novana, Pantheon are all 10 mins walk from the hotel. Metro station is also 4-5 mins walk from there which you can use to go to Colosseum, Vatican and some of the other areas. There are many cafes and pizzerias near to the hotel. Our room was very spacious and had a small kitchentte stocked with requisite cutlery. The breakfast is served on each floor and had decent spread from European standards. What really stood out was the service. One thing to note is that the hotel is spread across various buildings and cabs dont reach them. They had porter service for carrying luggage till rooms and till taxi stand also which was roughly 200 m away. Hence handling luggage here was a breeze. Overall staff at the reception and breakfast area were all extremely helpful. Will highly recommend this hotel for its location and service. Couple of things to note - (a) our room was a duplex room which can be a bit of challenge with elderly people (b) cabs will stop slightly away from the hotel but its manageable distance, (c) entrance is a small door which can be easily missed, the hotel is next to Prada showroom.

We spent eight nights at The View and the Inn at the Spanish Steps. We stayed in the executive suite, which was amazing. These are among the few rooms with direct elevator access. If you have mobility issues, you should be aware that the rooms in the main building cannot be accessed without using the stairs. The view from our room looked directly at the Spanish Steps. There are only four suites on our side of the floor. We also had two lounge rooms, two patios, and a private breakfast room. We absolutely spent a week in luxury. The location is right in the middle of everything. We could walk to all the major attractions within 15 minutes—Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, the Vatican, Castel Sant’Angelo, etc. The staff were extremely attentive and addressed any requests we had. The one thing I would keep in mind is the availability of taxis to the hotel. The street the hotel is on ends at the plaza in front of the Spanish Steps and is always crowded with pedestrian traffic. Also, vehicles are not allowed in front of the Spanish Steps, so you will need to walk away from the Spanish Steps to a pickup location. In no way is this small issue a deal breaker, just something to keep in mind.

What a lovely hotel! All the staff were smiling, helpful and were sociable. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable as was the feel of the whole hotel. The location was the best, with only a few mins walk to all the big sites. Towards the end of the evening, we sat on the balcony for drinks, and it finished each day off perfectly. One member of the staff should be singled out “Gopal” looked after us extremely well. The only down side and it is a small one is we could not get the BBC news channel. Not a big problem but would have been nice.

Stayed here for a long weekend break and left completely satisfied. All staff were amazing, very helpful and knowledgeable. Our room was fantastic with great views of the Spanish steps. Great choice for breakfast with a perfect setting on the rooftop terrace. We had a few drinks on the rooftop terrace on a night and the barman was very polite we couldn't fault anything about this hotel with its perfect location, in all a Fabulous experience and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic location. Not a conventional hotel. Breakfast on a small terrace on the 5th floor as was our room. Above the hullabaloo sit back and enjoy a mid afternoon cocktail/Prosecco after a hard day's sightseeing. Excellent local restaurants close by. Communication links are good and convenient.
